"circlejerking" at least shows that there are people in the community who give enough of a shit to go in the admin's feedback thread and say nice things
this IS useful feedback because it shows that the admin's active enough to get people to notice and enjoyable enough for people to take time out of their day to post there

its my opinion that "epic gamer" isn't useful admin feedback and just dilutes away the actual feedback, and there's nothing you can do about that.
in fact on further reflection im sure there's a fair amount of "they did this and that that relates to admin activity and i thought that was good" but as i said it gets drowned out by stuff thats mostly contentless affirmation.

admin feedback can probably fairly be seen as circle jerking but it's not like anyone forces you to do it, it's mostly like "oh this fellow admin, who i actually see handling tickets, is being really cool" and then you write something up for them.
otherwise, all you see is ban appeals, your own ahelps with them, or the events they make, which probably don't happen every often. if you constantly see how someone admins, you'll definitely know more about how they act, for better or for worse.

that said getting feedback from players even if it's just a shitpost or something nice is funny and mostly nice. please stop calling me a female tho

i avoid this topic because as rave has stated, having a bunch of grown adults discuss about your gender is pretty uncomfortable, especially if it's something that is going to be brought up every time you are mentioned (or often enough)

i don't mind whatever pronouns you want to use for me, simply stop associating my person with what you think my gender is or genitals are because it's definitely not something you'd do to a guy

It's quite irrational to expect folks to type up professional essays to affirm that an admin is doing a good job when just saying "Admin is doing good job" fulfills basically the same purpose. This is sort of the general rule of thumb with feedback by large, that positive feedback will generally be more sparse and lacking in content as opposed to negative feedback, that's just a human thing in general.
Generally if you're doing things right, you should expect no feedback at all across the board unless a person is predisposed to the concept of constructive criticism. And even that is filtered by the fact that it takes a special case for a player to go out of their way to navigate to the subforum outside of the game to write up long form constructive feedback on their favorite admin. And then when that happens, it's going to look like circlejerking to some people.
Beyond that, most of the visible feedback comes from other admins because I imagine admins spend more time paying attention to admin conduct than players do.
