I just became a security officer

I play less games, I use the term "erp" more often.

I used the fact that I contributed to the codebase on a resume that got me hired at my job
Having one of, if not *the* largest open-source codebase, and the 7th? largest in all of github means that if you contribute to and get the content merged you can slap that on a resume for free points

i tried to hit on a guy at a party who said he knew the game and it didn't work out
i even told him i'm an admin :{
i also went on a date with a girl and she asked me about the game since she knew i liked it a lot and it made me go on a five minute rant about it. poor soul she had to put up with it

i also met wonderful people here and i ended up getting a tourist visa just to visit them in the US
and my english has improved a lot, some people told me they wouldn't have noticed i'm not a native speaker based on how i type (still gotta work on my accent tho !)

made me get back into drawing a bit, i met some cool people, and it ruined my sleep schedule

I used to respect women and minorities but after playing ss13 i wanna push them down into a mud bog full of centipedes!!!

Also i say "robust" to describe powerful things

i've never met someone into ss13 let alone heard of it by chance and dont think i ever will, it's such a niche game

personally i've made a bunch of good friends both when i first got here and when i got back, some of them i still have great relationships to to this day. ive also had someone visit me after meeting them through ss13 and had them stay over for a week or so.

I'd like to believe it hasn't. I NEED to.

I somehow got an old boyfriend to actually play it by some miracle.

Gotten a lot of friends to too. It was usually too uphill of a learning curve or toxicity / OTT admins drove them away from wanting to play it regularly. Every so often they'll play a few rounds still though

I can't play other games now because they don't feel like they have any depth in comparison. Came with a cool community to hang out with. Fucked sleep schedule (it was fucked anyways though to be fair).

I’m so sick of all these people that tho k they’re gamers. No, you’re not. Most of you are not even close to being gamers. I see these people saying “I put well over 100 hours in this game, it’s great!” that’s nothing, most of us can easily put 1000+ hours in ss13. I see people who only have a Nintendo Switch and claim to be gamers. Come talk to me when you pick up a keyboard then we be friends.

Also DEAR ALL WOMEN: Pokémon is not a real game. Animal Crossing is not a real game. The Sims is not a real game. Mario is not a real game. Stardew valley is not a real game. Mobile games are NOT.REAL.GAMES. put down the baby games and play something that requires challenge and skill for once.

but gupta, both the sims, stardew valley, and iirc animal crossing all have aspects where you need to interact with other people, speak to women, and touch grass outside!
This is very difficult for many people, and clearly is the challenge and indicator of skill...

SS13 has cost me more than a few percentage points on final exams in the past.

Im now constantly drunk and high, because of ss13.

i have a rather large folder of anna kendrik gifs and reaction images

i had a dream the other night that dean ivanov was in my apartment complex beating random elderly people to death with a toolbox and i kept getting calls from the tenants about how annoying it was to have to listen to the loud bludgeoning sounds
