i know this is a shitpost but i'll respond seriously
it's korean pop and well known for being an exploitative industry to insane degrees for certain companies (and as much as any western one for others)
they focus mainly on being pretty and dancing. singing is important depending on how many members the group has (the more, the less singing for each member, the easier to stick to easy vocals). this varies though there's large groups with great singers
there's boy bands and girl groups (very few to none mixed) and you've probably heard of BTS because they became extremely well known. their music is cool but obviously not worth it if you don't like pop

i like this song from them a lot :}
and for women i like this group because they're all incredible singers

i don't really follow groups much i am simply a things enjoyer and i like the music while being aware of how some companies and groups simply drain their artists
