Merienda

Merienda is a light meal[1] in southern Europe, particularly Spain, Portugal (merenda) and Italy (merenda), as well as Hispanic America, the Philippines, North Africa (Morocco) and Brazil (lanche or merenda). Usually taken in the afternoon or for brunch, it fills in the meal gap between the noontime meal and the evening meal, being the equivalent of afternoon tea in the English-speaking world; or between breakfast and lunch. It is a simple meal that often consists of a piece of fruit, cookies, yogurt, and other snacks paired with juice, milk, hot chocolate, coffee, spirits, or other beverages.

My morning routine, wake up 5 hours before the day begins run, check my phone, check stocks, bench, After all of this, I get myself water and uncut protein bars to boost muscle development. I do a deep breathing exercise to make sure my body gets oxygen.

Uncut protein bars are nice and dont taste like chalk

im having coffee right now (it is afternoon or merienda as i like to call it as i post)

the usual snax like salted nuts and tea n maybe some cookies if I've got any

im having some left over lasagna from christmas and i threw some chives on it cuz they are gonna go bad in my fridge

ive made Brazilian cheese bread several times, its really good and easy to make

Don't drink mate, it gives you cancer.

I don't usually have merenda, when I do it's mandarins, clementines or other seasonal fruits
