What’s the actual part that’s tripping them up? Not have any data sent to US sounds like a grand oversimplification and if true would displace a lot more than just Facebook.

I don’t see why they couldn’t have EU regulation-acceptable data centers in the US, we do that with pharmaceuticals which is arguably more important than what your birthday is or what items you like to shop for.

There was a German YouTuber who found out that they show ads for the conservative party if you fit in some bizarre group like interested in migrants or smth and it probably radicalized some people
