The brother of High Science Fiction is High Fantasy.

Isekai is peak fiction and you should be reading or watching it!

The missile knows where it is at all times. It knows this because it knows where it isn't. By subtracting where it is from where it isn't, or where it isn't from where it is (whichever is greater), it obtains a difference, or deviation. The guidance subsystem uses deviations to generate corrective commands to drive the missile from a position where it is to a position where it isn't, and arriving at a position where it wasn't, it now is. Consequently, the position where it is, is now the position that it wasn't, and it follows that the position that it was, is now the position that it isn't.
In the event that the position that it is in is not the position that it wasn't, the system has acquired a variation, the variation being the difference between where the missile is, and where it wasn't. If variation is considered to be a significant factor, it too may be corrected by the GEA. However, the missile must also know where it was.
The missile guidance computer scenario works as follows. Because a variation has modified some of the information the missile has obtained, it is not sure just where it is. However, it is sure where it isn't, within reason, and it knows where it was. It now subtracts where it should be from where it wasn't, or vice-versa, and by differentiating this from the algebraic sum of where it shouldn't be, and where it was, it is able to obtain the deviation and its variation, which is called error.

I do agree that you should give almost every anime a shot, but you can do way better than Isekai

Some of my favourite animes that aren't Isekai or magical
Baki
Jojo
One piece
Megalo box
A certain scientific rail gun/magical index
Another
Code Geass (kinda magical but fuck you)
Death note
Erased
Inuyashiki
Mirai Nikki
Parasyte
Plastic memories
Vivy
Sonny boy (a recommend if you liked paprika)
The detective is already dead
Kamisama ni natta hi
Toradora
Tower of god
Vivy again

Just some examples (composed of a list i personally watched)

You can really do better than Isekai and i will enjoy the moment Isekai will lose their domination on the market.

The last good isekai anime was Vision of Escaflowne (1996)

If that happens it will be either due to a major historical event or a very similar genre replacing isekai.

Everyone knows it takes two nukes to produce something like anime. You really have to demoralise them.

Tower of god
:? Half the anime you listed had magical elements, and Tower of God is outright high-tier magic fantasy.

I think it shows and preys on a desire by people in our Era to escape from the abuse and drudgery prevalent in modern society.

Double Otome Isekai. Two characters are isekai'd and possess characters from an otome game (female-aimed story game/VN, likely dating-oriented) and generally end up opposing each other, with the conflict usually centered around an unworthy/manipulative character possessing the main character or displacing the main character in the story using their knowledge of the game cues.

It's

An entire

Genre

I HATE it here.

The ones where they turn into the villainess and become a total cinnamon roll are definitely the best ones

WE ONLY NEEDED ONE

MAYBE A COUPLE OF IMITATORS/TWISTS

Like there's one where the villainess is chillin' in the same body and watching the new character's old memories from inside her head to pass the time and then she gets betrayed and fucked over anyway, new character BSODs and the old villainess passenger gets control of the body again and goes "OH IT'S ON FUCKERS TIME FOR REVENGE" that I am watching with interest

But

Listen

If I go to MangaDex and search +Isekai +Villainess, I get seven pages

SEVEN PAGES

I WANT OFF MR BONES WILD RIDE

I LITERALLY CAN'T STOP FOR THE LOVE OF GOD HELP ME

But also I'm just desperately hoping the isekai boom we've been in since fucking SA:O will stop dominating the big-name anime releases, but it just NEVER ENDS

And now SOMETIMES the ISEKAI IS GOOD so the chance of the bubble popping is EVEN LOWER

At least we're outside of the "light novel shovelware chasing the latest trend" cluster for the anime industry, though I cynically say that's probably by necessity since there's so much chaff in the isekai genre.

Im tied between the one where the salary man dad is sucked into his daughters otome game as a villainess or the one where the villainess just goes full street fighter and punches all her problems away

no but like 60% of the shows in the last 5 years are anime adaptations of isekai LNs
