Went to one of those conventions that has all those people from companies that talk to students. I'm lucky to have such a large school that many large companies to come by to talk to us. Still, didn't really get the courage to talk to the huge companies so I settled for some of the regional ones. I didn't enjoy it that much, kinda wish I didn't have to do this kind of shit but I suppose it's necessary. Perhaps there will be less talking to people like this once I actually get settled in my career in tax.

compare it to something like cars, most people can't stand the jackasses who go around with coffee-can exhausts and body kits and god knows what else strapped onto their shitty little corsa, but have no problem with people who just drive a car (or race properly on actual racing circuits) and don't make a big deal out of it or push it in everyone's face by racing in the street

it's the whole "my way of enjoying myself is better than yours, what do you mean you're not putting 100% into it all the time like it's a fucking lifestyle or something you POSER" thing too. The call offs, the busted pallets, and the sewage are ultimately the 3 THINGS that happened

The sewage fuck up just was mishandled on so many levels

The fact the store wasn't closed is just nightmarish

My parents tell me out of the blue that they're getting divorced right before their 30th year together. I'm an adult so I don't know why this is bothering me so much, but I spent a good while alone thinking. Now I just feel depressed.

Openreach are notoriously known for being shit, several clients of my last company had their internet delayed because the lazy cunt installers would cancel the install date saying "no access to site" without ever actually showing up.
