Okay so a few minutes ago I was feeling mildly hungry so I went into the kitchen and fixed myself three pieces of toast. I got out the peanut butter, I knew it was low and I would have to bring out a new jar. Little did I know a big storm was coming. Crunchy peanut butter. As I sat down ready to eat, I thought to myself, "Maybe it won't be as bad as I remember." Mind you the last time I ate crunchy peanut butter was years ago. I was wrong. That stuff was disgusting and right now I am legitimately sick to my stomach. I'm half-hoping that stuff comes back up in a gut soup of watery peanuts. I can't even think of one single instance where it would be acceptable, or even good, to use crunchy peanut butter. Crunchy peanut butter is the disgusting, mouth-breathing, younger sibling of creamy peanut butter that will never amount to anything and that creamy peanut butter is always forced to drag around wherever it goes. Not only is that atrocity of a "food" incredibly hard to spread, it's just nasty. Usually I like strong contrasts but jesus christ that diarrhea-looking butter makes me want to quit eating peanut butter for good.

Crunchy and smooth peanut butter are both good. What I'm sure we could all agree on is that there is no peanut butter worse than the brands that liquify at room temperature.
