if they are bored they should just go legally obtain another game for a few months until new features are addedTheFinalPotato wrote: ↑Mon Jan 31, 2022 10:43 pmPeople who greytide tend to have seen most of the game, and reached a state of boredom with the mechanics. Seems like an admin issue to me, and it seems like the admin solution is working.
This is why im not playing rn and am instead playing roblox gacha gamesTheFinalPotato wrote: ↑Mon Jan 31, 2022 10:43 pmPeople who greytide tend to have seen most of the game, and reached a state of boredom with the mechanics. That's a good point. Haven't we (the admins) had multiple discussions in the past about why all notes aren't inherently a negative thing?

ive always maintained that notes (excluding like "xyz player did great in an event!" sort of notes) are generally going to be a bad thing for the player, they aren't inherently bad/negative but at the very least theyre a record of prior behavior which means if they repeat that behavior they will be banned all the harsher for it, which is fine. its good to establish a record of a players behavior so we dont get people like beardbeard. but in some cases notes may not cover the entire situation or may be wrong, making them unappealable is unfair to the players, considering having notes on your account can very easily lead to harsh punishments.

The rest of that post is spitballing ways to force assistants to play in a constructive way. Not coming up with more things for them to do and just expecting them to do it.TheFinalPotato wrote: ↑Mon Jan 31, 2022 10:43 pmPeople who greytide tend to have seen most of the game, and reached a state of boredom with the mechanics. notes are a punishment but you can freely play the game, go on forums, go on discord, etc. and are used to kick the can down the line for actual punishments like banning. Like getting pulled over and getting let off with a warning instead of a ticket. Notes are a terribly bad punishment if thats what they are.
Hey rookie, there never was a rule for posting in your own peanut. The rule is, you don't CREATE your own peanut threads, because we will all know that you actually just got owned really good and want to get back at the admins by riling up a protest.
I mean, this is sinful we're talking about. If anyone is the type to appeal this sort of note, it would be him.Pandarsenic wrote: ↑Tue Feb 01, 2022 6:57 pmImagine getting off with just a note and going "NO, I THINK EVERYONE IN THE FORUMS SHOULD SEE THIS"

Axle pulls a flash (?? Why did he have this) and flashes the dude for telling him no and not letting him steal the whole locker
Starts a fight with the whole department plus the janitor as they arrive
Engineer walks past with a plasma canister, says "I'll do it," gets shoved, leaves the canister???
Janitor taking the side of Engineering beartraps Axle
Axle tries to murder the engineer with a welding tool
Gets crit, cuffed, taken to medical
I was going to call him a maverick and a rugged individualist to avoid the tired sigma grindset meme but this is pure solipsism. The entitlement and selfishness on display here is sincerely remarkable. A man who will resort to almost anything to get his own way and enact revenge on those who would deny him. It's borderline sociopathic.Pandarsenic wrote: ↑Tue Feb 01, 2022 6:57 pm Imagine getting off with just a note and going "NO, I THINK EVERYONE IN THE FORUMS SHOULD SEE THIS"

And he's clearly just so bad at getting people to give him what he wants. Be likeable. Ask nicely. Provide a compelling reason why you should have them. Explain why giving them to you will benefit them. Offer them something they would want in exchange.
Exuding a tad of cacogenic hyperbole is far less embarrassing than posting in your own peanut threadsinfulbliss wrote: ↑Wed Feb 02, 2022 1:42 amerm... what the deuce?cacogen wrote: ↑Tue Feb 01, 2022 11:37 pm The entitlement and selfishness on display here is sincerely remarkable. I remember he protested somah's perma on the basis of the note being too vague and having no reference to the acts despite somah's repeated issues being known to everyone by that point.Farquaar wrote: ↑Mon Feb 07, 2022 1:36 amHe's died on dumber hills beforePandarsenic wrote: ↑Mon Feb 07, 2022 12:19 am Sinful:

see Timber's post in the appeal thread and contend with that if you wanna accuse me of having rules-lawyered. both me and multiple others (including admins) have stated they had read it in the same way I did. I am glad it's fixed now
the lessons i learned was 1. starting a conflict over insuls isn't a valid reason to start a conflict that escalates to violence and 2. you cannot continue the conflict after being critPandarsenic wrote:I beg you, take a moment to at least try to take a lesson from this about what the other people in the game think about the rampant tiding.
