Random crits are fun and people who play without them don't know how to have fun

yeah man its so fun when im fighting someone and then they randomly get to do 3x damage for zero reason and instakill me with no extra effort on their part, so fun

Tremendously evident skill issue.

The main thing I don't like about random crits is that their impact against the different classes sucks for those who get the shorter end of the stick

Spy gets melee crit by targets who should be weak to him, heavy dies instantly to a single projectile, etc...

Random crits let new players stand a chance against veterans and lets veterans sometimes completely fuck on a guy in a funny way.

It's to create those rare high moments where you go on a kill streak.

Fun fact, melee random crit rate can scale upto 60% and is based of damage you deal(not kills) (around 600 damage).

This is why medics and snipers have such a high melee crit rate (medic damage is tied to your pocket).

positioning for 500 points
dragnet for 200 points
not standing near sec when they are after you for 300 points
any slip at all for 100 points
bola for 400 points

Hell no. Last they mentioned was an "update-sized update", which they changed to holiday-sized update or something. I have low expectations.

my expectations arent hard to meet i just want some form of map to be included permanently that isn't a festive one, the mapping community is in dire need of a morale boost
