if you're trying to do something and someone is making it their lives mission to be a nuisance to you for absolutely no reason why would you give them the time of day much less entertain them in their shittery and follow proper escalation?
i can guarantee you that tesora has does quite literally nothing but be a shit and try to elicit a response from people, just observe him play for a round

Slavik fucking drops the dude after catching a metal plate from Tesora after they were throwing snap pops at each other for a little while. The clown pulled a couple of harmless pranks with the items that were accruing from the arcade machine there. While Slavik didn't instigate the fight the logs don't show damage from him catching the metal plate so it looks like they skipped steps in escalation to drop and ditch them. It was an honest mistake that would have caught up many admins including myself.

You missed the part where Tesora kept trying to cuff them. A successful cuff is like a stun but more permanent.

If you keep try to disable someone and then escalate you deserve to get beaten.

The ban was issued for killing and then handing Tesora for gibbing to the chef. Except the logs clearly show the chef finishing Tesora off on their own.

Given that players aren'y responsible for other players actions and that critting isn't treated as killing, the worst Soyoboyo can have done is over escalate.

So the ban is incorrect on that alone.
