"If a player's age is brought to the administration's attention by a third party, this information should not be acted upon. This is to discourage people seeking out each others' information, as this has historically lead to really bad situations.
Exception: Third parties reporting someone admitting to being underage is acceptable ONLY if reported privately with 24 hours. The admission MUST be within an official /tg/Station13 channel (the official Discord server, forums, OOC chat, etc.)."

Pretty sure this falls into that category, as the "doxxed" person in question revealed their underage status volutarily in an OUTSIDE discord channel. Whether he should've ate a permaban from probably a good faith attempt to notify admins of a Rule 9 break is ehhhh.

hoping to god that there's more to this story cause this is by far one of the lamest bans of all time. any idiot that's trying to get Extra Friendly with people they don't know online while underage needs to be kicked as far away as possible.

"This person is underage" is not even remotely doxing, especially if it IS factually the reason you cut off contact with the underage person and you get asked about it.

If you know/think someone is underage but only pursue telling admins when you have bad blood with the individual and can use that as leverage to get them banned then it’s like bruh.

The conversation was weird tbh and as a viewer of the receipts it was really yikers to say the least. That said it was probably just they did some embarrassing stuff and freaked out over so I could understand them coming back. They’d probably like skyrat more though…

Including typing speed drill elements in combat adds depth and raises the skill ceiling.

I now get to tell everyone who isn't an admin in here that there's certainly more than meets the eye on both reasons for the ban
I've asked headmins to please provide whatever context they can should they decide to chime in, but it IS a very justified ban - just can't say why due to the sensitivity of the matter at hand (doxxing is bad, mkay?)

tl;dr justified and there IS more to the story but it's a serious coin toss on whether any more parts of the story will be released because it's hard to drop info in dox cases
