I thought I was going to get a ban/note, and was mentally ready to appeal it. I didn't so instead I'm making this thread. This was like five hours ago.

It was funny the first few times, now it's just people getting spammed constantly with screens full of updates when the 10 or so crabs on the station pull money out of their account. It's very annoying and doesn't need to be a thing.

I could just put up a PR to add it as an exception to the discount rule so it can't roll discounted any more.

This is funny for the antagonist. Antagonists not necessarily reciprocate fun with the rest of the crew, and they'll always ruin someone's day. Being annoying as an antagonist is antagonistical. If this didn't cause actual stress or technical problems on the server it's literally a non-issue, just something you personally dislike.

If some lines of text that can't harm you make you unable to play or make you lose your mind, you have a very delicate, hugbox mentality. Go ask for this change on MRP, where murderboning isn't allowed either because it "isn't fun for everyone".

The point of antagonists is to make the round more interesting for everyone while still having fun. Spamming someone's textbox with 20 lines of bullshit every 30 seconds isn't fun for anyone but the person who did it. This is just like why we still ban people who spam bullshit as an antag. Best case scenario, it's annoying. Worst case, it creates lag.

I'm not fucking hugbox just because I want people to actually enjoy their time here.

Looking at https://github.com/tgstation/tgstation/pull/66037 and the fact that just having organs procs 9 things per tick versus 60x20/60/10=2 procs per tick from having CRABOVERLOAD is going to be a cause of additional lag.
