Not content enough for a single shift:
Curator, Prisoner

No actual responsibilities, content becomes boring and repetitive:
Geneticist, Scientist, Virologist

Repetitive content with social interaction:
Roboticist, Quartermaster, Cargo Technician, Janitor, Bartender, Cook, Chaplain

Purely socially driven:
Mime, Lawyer, Psychologist

Expansive content with nuanced mechanics:
Station Engineer, Atmospheric Technician, Medical Doctor, Chemist, Shaft Miner, Botanist

Socially driven content with mechanical or action backing:
Head of Personnel, Detective, Paramedic, Assistant

Socially driven content with expansive mechanical or action backing:
Captain, Head of Security, Security Officer, Warden, Chief Engineer, Research Director, Chief Medical Officer, Clown, AI, Cyborg

Disagree on Curator, there's enough to do exploring space for a few shifts worth of content.

This post is funnier if you take "fight me" to mean that the best job content is punching people in the halls

Socially driven content with expansive mechanical or action backing:

All jobs.

Make your own damn fun; nobody cares about your """job."""

Have to say this is one of those loops that I could do endlessly at this point. Doesn't matter if its the slow roll of ZAS, the current state of LINDA, Monster, or whatever other atmos. I can find a way to enjoy it on each. Like, send me some meteors lets go!

AI is actually mechanically super boring in what you actually get to do, you mostly just shittalk the crew.

I agree that Cyborg is the ultimate replayable job. This is despite them having a finite number of tools depending on there module.

AI should be much lower though, as without borgs you have basically zero ability to interact with the station outside opening doors.

I'm surprised you put cook and bartender in the social-only role when clown was put in the social interaction with mechanical backing. Cook and bartender have a large, publicly accessible room that everyone visits that is entirely open for customization and theming. Not many jobs can say the same.

The fact is that every job has infinite replayability if you try to be creative.

It depends on what you enjoy about the game. If you enjoy building and projects, engineer and atmos has essentially infinite content.

That said I think security and assistant are the jobs with the most replayability. Security's job changes every single round and has very different demands round-to-round. The content is based on the other 50-some-odd players doing things. Assistant is the same in that way but is freer than security in what they can do, which makes it easier for them to get involved in the goings-on around the station generally. Downside is they don't really have a job so you really do have to make your own fun.

All jobs have to make their own fun but it's nice for there to be direction in your round, also the more insular your job is the more difficult it will be to involve yourself in the round and thus the more important the job itself becomes for your fun. E.g. xenobio, virology, and genetics. These jobs have the least replayability because of how insular they are. Xenobio has a lot of content, perhaps more than most jobs in the game, but is still among the least replayable because after you've done it for a while you've exhausted that content.

The best way to play those sorts of jobs is to use it as a way to help the crew. I.e. creating fireproofing potions to give out, silver slime extracts to provide people with food, creating a healing virus - but balance changes sort of push them into a place where they're not useful enough to be helpful. Self-recharging slime cells getting removed, silver slime food getting nerfed, among other things removes their ability to help the rest of the station in ways that are engaging (scanning a slime extract for R&D is not engaging and doesn't create interactions).

Since no one tried to tier list antagonists

Really frustrating mechanics that make playing a chore
Sentient Disease, Rat king

One off gimmicks with law 4 limitations preventing anything too fun:
Thief, fugitives/Hunter , Waldo, Abductor, Obsessed

Limited or flawed mechanics with a ticket to kill for fun:
Nightmare, Blood brother, Traitor (old), Heretic , Rev head, Revenant, Pirate

Expansive content but very closed ended possibilities:
Blob, Nuke Ops, Blood Cultist, Xenomorph, Spider, Slaughter/Laughter demon, Dragon

Both expansive content & freedom to pursue different outcomes:
Prog Traitor, Wizard, Changeling, Ninja

To me the most replayable antagonists have a variety of different potential "builds" and are played by crew members who can blend in with the crew to avoid being instantly valid hunted.
