the first time I ever saw someone use the n-word on the internet was when I was playing the old Half-Life (1) mod "Science and Industry". I think I was about 10 or 11 years old. It was a team mod where you had to kidnap scientists and defend your own scientists so you could research new weapons to kill the other team with. A player joined the server named "(The N-Word, soft a)-With-A-Gold-Toof". this was the first time I had seen the n-word on the internet. I knew what it meant because my stepdad was very racist. Science and Industry was a fun mod.

Science and Industry was cool but felt like it didn't have players in comparison to some of the bigger ones.. Can't quite remember when exactly I ended up playing it, tons of HL1 mods were active back then and I was trying them all out. I loved The Ship so much.
