Honestly the most likely case, ASSUMING THAT WHAT TECHNOKEK SAYS IS TRUE, is that while dealing with a mob of people tiding him while he's trying to make an arrest, he sees you running away and assumes that you're a part of it.

Then you take his non-lethal option and deepfry it, forcing him to use lethals.

This is textbook banbaiting. There's zero world where you should deepfry Sec's non-lethal equipment, and then complain that you're being lethal'd.

I disagree with this being banbait, it's more just a case of "I mad cause I lost" kind of ahelp. But it definitely was an IC issue and nobody should've been ahelping it. If sec's problem isn't with you, you shouldn't be aiding others on the ground or throwing peels around, and you definitely shouldn't be taking their gun to deep fry it. This reminds me of an interesting conversation I once had with lead staff of other prominent ss13 communities. They were talking about how they would regularly read Ban Appeals and the associated peanuts for entertainment. One of them even unironically mentioned the Scriptis’ Zyb Index (they didn’t say the term “Zyb Index”, but talked about how it was interesting that people would collect logs and compare the amount of powergamey lingo they used to actual words). It was by far one of the most jarring things I’ve heard, and I wish I was lying.

But the information it was empty and thus wasn't even for self defense means it was just a pure, spiteful "Fuck you, I'm removing Sec Gear from the round." and Sec has enough shitters to deal with, without people making it worse by removing their non-lethal gear (especially since, as we see, they'll get banned for using Lethals once they no longer have non-lethals left).

The act of deepfrying is what I call aggressive dickism.

If you take X item and deepfry it you aren't just removing their item from the round. You want them to know that you did, or have a very high chance of them knowing.
Tossing the item out an airlock? For the most part you can consider it out of the round but other than spew on the radio you can't really rub that nut up against any faces.
You don't deepfry unless you want to send a message, that message being "Here, I did this to you, I am now valid"
