I don't expect ban overturn, though. It would be improper to accept his logic on it only being a partial ban as some sort of merit - it isn't, in his original appeal, they said it was only a partial ban because he's the only headcoder, and they couldn't afford to fully ban him. That isn't really a merit for his case, if anything, it's a detriment that he's taken advantage of his position.

So, were I in charge of this case, I would deny and tell him to re appeal after the one year period.

He's absolutely correct that people should view his actions in their totality, though, and an unban after the one year would be totally fine, but, giving him an exemption on the one year here would be improper, since we all know no one else would get that. If I appealed my discord ban tonight, even though melbert flat out said I was innocent of what the ban reason said, I don't feel like I would be unbanned, they would just tell me to come back in August to appeal.

Which is to say this whole awkward situation and equally awkward partial ban is pretty worrisome.
