also no taking multiple guns from the armory and making turrets in your office 10 MINUTES IN EVERY ROUND is not "a fun project", its powergaming so you have a saferoom that nobody can touch you in (you use it for this, because you have a hand tele beacon setup in there that you constantly use to escape anytime you're attacked)

it almost reached "so we lynching lisa again this round?" like what had happened with reider before, although they got banned before any lynching could happen

Swat please, for the love of god, it's one thing to gear up against threats when they happen. It's another to just grab everything you can at the start of the round. Pace yourself, you'll enjoy the game a lot more if you let the paranoia from potentially being owned by someone actually fester just a little bit. Its hard not to play 100% optimally when you already know how, I get it. However, give the round a chance before you gamer gear up. If you wouldn't like having to face down someone whos basically unkillable early into the round don't do it to someone else.

i get what you mean and i think ive gotten a lot better at at least containing myself to what my goals are so i dont get bored and participate in active tide conflicts and begin to look for things that could pose a threat to the station, and those goals arent more than getting good at smaller scale projects (turret farm is most recent and discontinued but i had/have similar fascinations with genetics / SM / surgery / building railings / Salvation Rangers / HOP and thats just in my limited <500 rounds on tg)

I would be doing this too if turrets wernt so stupid to make and blatantly restricted to just heads of staff and sec even if you get the guns for them (there are settings that are command/sec favored but not naked lizard favored which is silly considering youre the one building and programming them so as a lizard you should be able to program them to favor lizards...)

This was my reasoning for building the turrets in regards to rule 12. I didnt think it was a powergaming issue when i was going out of my way to build inefficient turrets just because they're fun

there is no problem with sec/heads making turrets, the problem is making them near round-start multiple consecutive rounds

its a rule so you cant turn security into an unbreakable dungeon making it impossible for antags to do anything other than bombing

If you look at my health records IC you will see that i have a condition where if i am took close to a broke person I will die (brokeaphobia). The effects arent as bad on the station because of dampening fields, but while on the emergency shuttle im not protected so i need to take measures to ensure that i can survive. Im sorry but you simply will need to accommodate.

i was a traitor. lisa green was the hos and died and DNRed to the tram immediately (early round exit, antag rolling?? >:((((). i took her id, a chameleon kit, and a mindshield, and started executing everybody on the station for silly bullshit crimes
