lol

edit:
Carsh is manuel's most active player afaik. In case you guys don't know, he has 5571 hours played, and 11803 connected (most of these are observing hours)

This is not meant to say he should or should not be unbanned, just putting it out there for further discussion.

carsh also is 2nd place in terms of living hours, making him the most likely player to receive the 2nd veteran cloak to have ever been rewarded

The shadowrealm mini game sucks anyway that's what really caused this problem. All you have to do is move diagonally.

It's worth pointing out that the note is, at minimum, incorrect.

It says that Carsh wasn't happy with the answer he got and decided to DM him about it, but from what he's saying there (and timestamps on messages lining up) it looks like he sent that before the ahelp conversation ever happened.

Whatever your opinion about the rest, I think it's important to be aware of the fact that he didn't do it out of spite for disagreeing with the result, but a heat of the moment thing. Whether that makes it better or worse is up to your own opinions.

He didn't get mega-aggressive or super insulting or anything, he was just upset after I chased him down and killed him after getting him as a target later. Not long after the round ended he apologized as he'd walked away for a bit and came back and realized he was just being assmad, it was pretty minor overall.

Yeah sounds like he just needed a time out to cool off and he got it.

Pretty much; I told him to appeal in like a week, he chose to wait a couple of months. He's been active in Manuelcord since and we actually interact semi-regularly since we both play Master Duel (a bad game).

I'm very very casual about Master Duel but we should absolutely play sometime

Edit to avoid double posting: I know Carsh pretty well, and I talk to him quite a bit. He's not a bad dude, he was just in a real rough spot for a while and was also burnt out to fuck, which isn't surprising given the hours he's put in. I honestly think he's a prime example of Case #1 in that 'Sorta Tough Situations You May Have To Deal With As A Headmin' debate thread. Good dude who just needed to take some time off.

His mental lid blows off from the sheer hatred and fury gained by this experience, and the pinnacle of this outburst is him passive-aggressively quoting the rulebook on them, and then telling the player to fuck off when they don't take it seriously.
Why is this guy banned? Why is he not an ADMIN already? Give him the tools immediately, set him loose, he is meant for this. If you can't see this, you are blind and not the maincharacter.

With recommended regards

Honestly best ban appeal I've had, the mutual respect and earnest discussion about fixing past mistakes and welcoming an old player back is a good thing to see.
