How do you have a history of disconnecting in the middle of ahelps without getting permabanned? What?

Disconnecting in and of itself doesn't lead to getting greater bans, disconnecting just means you give up the ability to defend yourself unless something like the logs (or an appeal) make it clear you were in the right.

I got yelled at last time I posted something about a precedent in someone's appeal, but we've banned people for starting idiot fights with each other without having any IC justification because it's NRP as fuck.

We've administratively handled players deciding they're going to use our game servers for NRP Family Guy chicken fight memes with their buddies before, and I hope we will continue to do so in the future.

If all you want to do is fight with your friends, I suggest you download the code, host a server locally, invite your friends to it and fight eachother until you've all got it out of your systems.

Then with that all done, connect to our game servers and play like you don't have questionable social intelligence.

Banning a guy for fighting one of his friends who didn't mind it, but not banning a detective who goes around murdering and round-removing suspects who definitely do mind being murdered, all with flimsy evidence, and instead of actually investigating (the detective's job).
While the ban itself doesn't seem unfair, I believe this ban's length was excessive. Worse yet, it was inconsistent with previous decisions - like he just randomly decided to be unusually harsh on this guy. This taints my opinion of Striders.

Honestly I've seen way worse where the same few players bloody up the hallway with each other with butcher cleavers multiple rounds in a row, and that recently on terry
