I've done that occasionally as Bartender on lowpop, with some shitty gacha game or my FFXIV dailies, but I always at least keep SS13 up on one of my two screens.

But I think that's a little different from this.

That's just inefficient. You can't effectively put multiple things on one screen the same way you can with two screens. You're taking up more space for less benefit. Only benefit would be the ability to lay back in bed and watch a movie.

ultrawide 144hz user here. as a former plebian with four (four!) monitors, i prefer the ultrawide. the only downside is that tiling window managers look dumb

ultrawide 144hz user here. as a former plebian with four (four!) monitors, i prefer the ultrawide. the only downside is that tiling window managers look dumb

If you're on windows (of course you are, you're playing gas sim), try Powertoys. You can set monitor turfs and snap to grid by holding shift while dragging the window. I have a big center one (27 inch equivalent) with the remainder as two verticals on the sides.

I dual-boot and I only ever use a tiling WM (i3) on Linux, and I seriously doubt I can do anything to avoid making it look silly, speaking from experience

... the windows installation is just for games that I can't get running in proton
