If you're at an accredited university you should have access to the full text. If not.

TL;DR - There was a consistent relationship of people with schizophrenia admitting themselves into psych wards more during the full moon.

I don't care if it's true or not. It's convenient to my narrative.

I don't think it's empirically true. But it's funnier this way.

If I had to nail it down hormones seem like a safe bet.

This isn't a particularly new theory, the term "Lunatic" derives from Lunacy, which itself derived from some latin word meaning like, "moonstruck" or something. People've suspected that the Full Moon has effects on people's mental health for centuries.

Very fascinating, though.
