Hi!
It turns out a lot of people are posting on this thread. I did not expect this.
What the fuck.

Sure!
"Johnny Golden."
Johnny Golden… sounds like a James Bond type of name. Some secret agent guy, but it’s clear that you aren’t a secret agent. More like some cool dude making their way down the hall on a nearby station, ship, or planetary base. Whatever, it ranks up there with duke nukem, but not as high, just a tad bit lower. It’s still a creative name nonetheless, and it gives a vibe a normal character would fail to do JUST by looking at the name. 8/10!

Jerome Sheets
Eh, I’m not sure about this name. It feels a bit weird adding sheets at the end and Jerome at the start. But it is an interesting twist, expecting a normal name but then seeing the last name. It just doesn’t give a connection to Jerome, and such is amusing, but “Sheets” doesn’t give that spice certain names have. I’d give it a 5/10 for creativity.

great thread idea
my character name is Noah Froggers but I also played as Claude Croaker for a little while
Noah Froggers? Excellent name. Now, this is another one of those “names that have a Normal name first, weird name last” and this is an example of a good name that does such. The random “froggers” last name gives an amusing expression, and is pretty funny. But, depending on how you look at it, I feel like it can give a in-depth type of view just by looking at the name, perhaps someone who is obsessed with frogs? 7/10, it ranks high up there.
Claude Croaker? Another frog reference! First letters match, and gives off a whimsical name vibe of suck. It’s like Noah Froggers, but it rhymes! I’ll add a 7.66667/10 for the creativity with this name, but it also ranks up high.

I've been playing on TGMC with a character named Offal Sweets.
Offal Sweets gives off a candy and sweet type of feeling. I don’t know how, but Offal somehow mixes with Sweets in a way. While, yes, it doesn’t really match given that you work for the ARMY (oorah!!) it still inspires yourself a bit when looking at the name. A good old sci-fi name. 6/10.

Jay Chambler
Jay Chambler? Sounds like someone who would robust someone then throw them into the brig to commit to Space Law and justice. Of course, while it doesn’t have a twist, it still gives off a certain vibe with its last name that I just can’t shake off. 6/10.

Ricky Paxton.
Ricky Paxton. Now, I’m not sure if this is just me, but do you guys see how badass of a name this is? The way it’s said, Ricky PAXTON just blows you off the rails. I’m not sure if it rhymes or what, or, I’m just stupid, but this name gives off a powerful aura like Johnny Golden, just add a little bit of robustness. ROBUST/10.

i can give you topics..
This isn’t a name, Kendrick. Come back when you have a name.

I have seen this name before on the fourms. Man, this is an unpredictable type of name. One that only a mad scientist would wield. Or, perhaps even a lawyer? I’m not sure. However, it’s strong, and even if gives no outrageously dastardly vibe, it still gives a strong aura. 7/10.

you gotta answer these before they pile up
Shut up I’m trying.

ARMHULEN WHAT THE HELL IS THIS? I can barely read this. But I’ll give you a rating anyway. BASKET out of BALL.

For a lighter one, Permille Silcrow Interrobang
Oh thank god. mean, I don’t know if this is better. It sounds like a silly name, like one you would name a sci-fi main character. It’s a long name that I’m not sure many enjoy, but, it still is a bit funny and I’m willing to give some leeway. Up you go on 7/10.

Richard Hastings
And I swear on all the insuls in engi that I did not consider the common interpretation of the name I was just trying to make it sound like some sort of knight.
A normal name, yes, but a name to be proud of. It’s a unique name that gives a civilized type of reading to it. RICHARD HASTINGS, KIGHT OF ENGINEERING, THE SEVENTH! You get my drift. 7/10, because it’s also creative.

Maia roentgen
I'm in like 2 TG copy pastas so I'm basically famous
Maia your name is everywhere already. The last name Roentgen gives a feeling that you would be good in Engineering, combined with the first name, Maia, it gives sort of a twist to it. Overall, it’s a good name, but it doesn’t give the strong aura I would accept. Still a good name that clearly has a lot of time put into it. 6/10.
Imaginos wrote: ↑Wed Apr 26, 2023 10:56 pm
Sure.
Jadyn Roby.
You probably have seen her either in Manuel or as the character in multiple of my sprite PR screenshots.
Jayden Roby… Man, that is a tough name. I mean, the choice of words gives a certain inspiration into it… Someone you WOULD put into a metal box trapped in space. Good name. 6/10.

Hello. My name is Dr. Glenn Pierce. And I'm here to ask you about what your opinion is on my name...
Are you the guy who tore space time apart in some mad experiment? Because you sound like someone who would. It gives off a really clever type of vibe from it that doesn’t HIT you, it flows into you. What could this doctor be up to now? Making creatures undefinable by nature? 7/10.

I am rather disappointed you didn't follow my lead and rate in unique rating systems.
Also my characters are:
Kevin Parkinson (haven't played in a long time)
Jayda Mcloskey (my main static currently)
Tiber Moore
Lucah Ensemble
SORRY BAW. I’ll make it up to you. I’ll use unique rating systems for now on, okay?
Kevin Parkinson, feels like an average name, someone you would throw into a station for no reason. I like it. Normal/absurd.
Jayda Mcloskey is a tricky name… gives off a normal aura, but, there’s something there? Weird. Maybe it’s the last name. Mc/Mac.
Bawhoppennn wrote: ↑Thu Apr 27, 2023 1:37 am
are we allowed to do multiple btw
It makes my job harder. I don’t feel like reviewing the rest since someone already did them. Sorry :(

edward sloan
Edward Sloan… sounds like a lazy type of guy.. but definitely not a lazy name. It gives a look into how the character should be, if i’m correct. Of course, you could somehow take on a syndicate operative and win, it’s not unlikely. It just doesn’t hit as well as the rest, but still good. 6/10.

Garry Garryson
GARRY GARRYSON? What the fuck? Why does this feel so.. compelling? How are you doing this, and do I have an underlining mental condition? Oh well, I guess how that’s how it rolls on this space station. 7/10, or, Garry/Garry.
————————
Guys, what the hell! I didn’t expect this to happen.
Oh well, if you submitted a name expect it to be rated soon, and if I missed a name, let me know!
For you judges out there, perhaps you can rate this name: “John Howard” Also go tell the other guy that made the RATE YOUR CHARACTER thread that they are doing a great job.
