I "worked." I work as pool staff*, and I was assigned to one of the least busy pools. A whole six people showed up over the course of my shift. I read the first two chapters of "The Fall of Carthage" it's pretty good.
*basically, make all the chairs/umbrellas/tables lined up and nice, and pick up trash. Keep an eye out to make sure three-year-olds aren't drowning in the one-and-a-half-foot-deep kiddie pool, etc.

I got drunk and kissed three different people, and I only vaguely remember the source of a vibrant hicky on my upper neck, now I have to go to work hungover and in a turtle neck.
Please never shut down the servers again.
