this is my idea for campbell. we make it either

anarchy server, guests can join, can join from byond webbrowser, always on hub, no rules or very little rules (no erp, terrorism, stuff like that)

or 2, HRP server with very little rules to allow HRP

also anyone who is banned from mainline TG servers can only join campbell so we can contain shitters by making them prove they can play nice with themselves

Adjusting the rules wouldn't even be a bad idea. Good place to have a monthly "ass day" as goon did w/o disrupting the mainline servers really.

Maybe we make Campbell the ERP server.

A few people suggested HRP Campbell. I don't think it would be the world's worst idea, however we'd need to have admins actively monitoring it, a fully written TG specific HRP ruleset, and people actually interested in it in the first place.

What Campbell lacks I feel is an interest in the server. If you want LRP you'll go to Sybil and/or Terry, if you want MRP you'll go to Manuel where all your friends are. Campbell doesn't have as much of a draw in that sense because it's Manuel without your friends.

campbell should be a test server where keyholders can merge batshit TM to test how players react or take a look at items on a live server.

Do we need to revive Campbell? I feel like this should be less of a "what can we do to revitalize and bring new life to Campbell" and more "we have a free slot, what cool stuff can we ask to do with it".

we can turn it into a 24/7 deathmatch

any ideas for a server theme would have to happen to a new server, not campbell.

Just tell the eur*peans to know their place, and make them connect to US servers. AMERICA IS NUMBER ONE!

Or make an aussie server so Carlash can have decent ping down in New Zeland

At first, I thought about Campbell's potential to host events such as the Painting Contest, but:
1- There are no actual upsides to it besides improving Campbell's population for a small amount of time;
2- The players that would be present in the round purely by random and consequentially end up enjoying the Event if played on a high-populated server would not be experiencing it if it were hosted on Campbell, and the number of participants/observers would also end up being lower.

I guess that hosting events on Campbell would only be strictly beneficial if it were to take advantage of the nature of Campbell's long rounds.
