With CID stealing that directly helps them since they can spoof the ID and evade the ban, they dont gain anything by stealing a low-impact players username and replicating that on the site they are pulling cheats from.

I agree that its not necessarily a smoking gun, but it is really odd to do from a "what do I gain" perspective. The path of least resistance would be to just make a random username that has no ties to anything.

I feel like if Im grieffing a server I wouldnt just take a random guys username because, like here, there is little love lost for someone no one really knows.
