As for the ban, I'm equal parts distraught and amused of how fucking stupid spawning in as more than 40 golems is. Like how

Fucker spawned in as 40 golems he made (he definitely was planning on being an obnoxious griefer with the amount of golems he made), and is now trying to paint the players bad for "improper escalation" against the golem cunt he is. No one is willingly going to arrest at least 40 golems that are being used to grief. Kill them all. Golems are cunts.

I kind of agree with you but I also think that using a player who willfully ignores the social contract of the game and exploiting it to an insane end isn't a good metric of it.

To put another way: Hoolny's behavior with borgs would be a good reason to remove them, because he did the same metagaming shit there too. Hell, if we use one bad actor as the example, we may as well get rid of all vectors for re-entering a round.

We could definitely make a hamfisted fix to put like a 5 minute cooldown per ckey on taking a golem shell or something but frankly it's probably better to just have admins clean up people who are doing obvious shit like this.

I can't believe Seth spawned as forty golems. He spawned as 40 golems! That's as much as four tens! And that's terrible.

This always happens on greenshifts where it turns into a golem vs security or crew war due to a minor conflict that gets self perpetuated. Ignoring the ban itself I think its kinda funny that you can spawn in as a golem in immediate danger, i would personally make it so you cant become a shell that is being observed by someone just to avoid those moments where you spawn in, get immediately attacked or see someone attacked, and then join in the conflict, its confusing on what you can and cannot do or act on based on what you see on your initial spawning in.

I should say that my comment was mostly sarcasm, there was more implied. I should've said "I've never seen a better case for removing golems, which make sense because there aren't many." I'm like 110% for keeping them.

Honestly ghosting out of being arrested is already turd behaviour.

its agonizing to know that at one point golems were even easier to abuse properly but its a great prospect that if seth were to have been able to abuse those golems it would've been an even better show for everyone who's not the admin who'd eventually have to perma him

i've never seen seth argue over anything in good faith so maybe he should use his new downtime to become a lawyer he'd probably get rich real fast
or maybe he'd just be barred from every court he enters who knows
