So many players go down the Chem path and get banned. We should remove chem to save these players from themselves

What a good guy.Recently, i've abused this feature to effectively stunlock people for minutes on end, it's very much NOT fun for everyone else... Pray this gets merged before everyone catches on to how overpowered Haloperidol currently is.

Just don't detonate Haloperidol nades in public places with zero rp reasons. This isn't a code issue, it's a you being an asshole issue
The mentioned previous notes for grenade grief makes this seem fair to me

I'm not certain I enjoy the idea of us using someone's bans on another server to extend their ban, but it does look like they explicitly came to /tg/ just because they were banned on Yog, which we don't want.
E: To clarify, I don't mind people being banned on one server and coming to /tg/ in an attempt to clear their record or try and improve their gameplay in general. What I don't want to see is people getting banned from a server and coming here to continue the same behavior because they're having fun griefing.

Honestly I think 7 days is justified here.
Mainly due to how he already has a note here, and the fact that being asleep/stuck on the floor for that long is WAY worse than just being dead imho.

I don't think that was in the initial investigation part. If someone is continuing the behavior from another server. What irks me a bit from the appeal is.
andAt no point did i self-antag. Sure, plenty of people got angry about the pranks, but rather
than solve things in-character they'd rather cry to the administration.
Haloperidol is COMPLETELY non-lethal and doesn't cause any real lasting damage other than
being annoying (I'll likely PR a nerf after this is posted.) Most of the crew just didn't
bother to purge the chems and instead claimed multiver didn't purge Haloperidol.
(I checked the code. They're full of shit.) Overall, It was just a bunch of tomfoolery
i was having while experimenting with Haloperidol. The least you can hit me with is the
"Don't be a dick" rule, of which i won't contest you on as even I think Haloperidol foam is a bit evil.
I am curious of how many people he hit though and calculate the chemical in their system from the initial burst of it and how long till the last person got it out of their system as well. I might look into that, simply cause mass foam flood of that crap is awful and stacks on each other cause its form.I think a lot of people got upset because of the stamina crit, which only goes to show that Haloperidol needs a nerf pr.
But like i've stated previously, nobody was actually hurt, and most people got by my pranks without issue.
At bare minimum atleast chop the ban length to 3 days. I've got my kicks out of Haloperidol for the time being and would like to move on.

The PR wasn't needed tbh - you could do fentanyl or CH foam and the outcome is pretty much the same. Most foam can be cancer and the chems don't need nerfing. If something doesn't get used often its because its a niche thing or takes too much effort compared to other options.

I have seen a mediborg just mess up a security officer and force him to stay on the ground for 15 minutes. Not being able to stop the criminal breaking into the bridge right next to him...
I think he ended up just ghosting or suiciding soon after...

i want to believe this is a joke because this is an extremely selfish way to approach a multiplayer roleplaying game that requires players to mutually agree to and uphold a shared sense of fair play and consideration for each other in order for it to even work in the first place.I do NOT want to have to wait 10 rounds in a row before i can finally do the ONE thing i've been wanting to do for hours.
everyone gets the same chance to roll antag. it's fair this way and no one gets preferential treatment. if you didn't get the roll, then too bad.
if every player had this mentality then the game would be entirely unplayable.
download the source files and experiment as much as you want on your own if you want to explore these mechanics.
