So as everyone warned everyone else would happen, the minute ERP was unbanned the same three fucking lizards started to fuck every goddamn round, having to be muted, singularitied or otherwise taken care of, wasting admins' time and annoying the shit out of everyone who doesn't want to be in the middle of three people's extended gay furry cybersex session.

I feel that this needs to be revisited, and for good this time.

I checked the rules on the wiki before posting and didn't see any mention of ERP policy.

At 4684 words 28034 characters that's the largest the rules page has ever been.

Nowhere is private because ghosts are forced to read the "I'm going to stick it in your butt you slut" and "* poons dat poon", unless the ghost cripple their observing ability and potentially miss any of the fun stuff thats happening.

Observers shouldn't have to cripple their observing of the game because some tossers don't want to play the game but textjerk eachother off in a game instead of buggering off to IRC or vore station.

It's easy to just find and follow players or entities as a ghost. When something interesting happens people always scream about it in DSAY so your fear of missing out on any hot gameplay moment because you've set your eyes/ears to local is kinda lame too.

You can always remove ghostsight and restrict it to only nearby mobs. The only reason I myself have it on global is so I can see the shitty ERP people do.

I have it always set to local because I like being able to read deadchat and not have to read at sanic speeds before the message is pushed off screen by the geneticist's monkeys' swearing.

the fact that 10~ people got killed by the engine when it was supposed to be contained, those 10 people probably ahelping, and the fact that my prints are on the PA and all the equipment that got them killed

also the "lol just arrest them IC/punish them"

i tried this, and I was making them a makeshift cell above engineering

i got arrested by security, the lizard was let go, and I was thrown in the brig and had all my tools and shit taken from me for trying to punish my worker for getting 10 people killed for fucking on the job

you can't fucking pull the "just take IC action L O L" card when IC action just gets you taken out of the round and all your progress ended

I'll see about adding something similar to ooc ignore, but for say and emotes that only functions when you are a ghost.
