Lights

This is a weird one, but it probably should be decided on as policy:
If you're in a room, and someone walks by in maint with a light on, as a player you'll be able to see their light cast onto the tunnel side of the walls.
I've seen players use this to their advantage to know if someone is in maint next to them or whatever, however it doesn't make any sense from an IC standpoint, considering your character would just see the wall, not behind it.
So is it allowed to use that knowledge to your benefit, and should it be?
I've always just played it off as people hearing the person in maint's footsteps or something, but that's probably quite the stretch.
Of course the preferable thing would be to do would be to have some code solution to where you don't see the light, however from my understanding, that isn't feasible currently.
