I've been making roundstart public thermite machines for a WHILE now as chemist on bagil.

It happened at last, I got bwoinked for it.

It was a simple "quit doing that every round" bwoink, but probably would have been more if I was the one doing crime with it every round.

This feels like the lrp version of the thread we had a while back titled "don't put genetics machines in the hallway people are getting hulk too much".
Is this really against the rules?

I find that it lets people grief super hard with it and it creates a headache, both as an admin and a player. I was assuming you'd've stopped after a while which you did not. And I've seen people use it to tide into aa/armory/upload whatever and ruin rounds. This is a really niche issue that doesn't need ruling, we can't have policy on every tiny thing. The issue was you were repeatedly facilitating a ton of grief as non-antag, and that's what I'd assume it to be for anyone else.

You mentioned not doing it every round but since you play a lot people end up seeing it at least once a day. Just base your timeframe for it on days or weeks as opposed to rounds/playtime and it wouldn't be much of an issue imo.

If you do the gimmick enough that you had someone bwoink you for it, yes.

It’s a soft form of AA, you’d be banned if you stole that daily as well.

Okay I'm wrong and thanks for the memes. It's less the public part more the overdone gimmick.
