I don’t use the discord vc, but based on my experience in otber discords I would support. Basic etiquette is lost on our generation.

I was going to ask if it was really that hard to ask people or tell them to just not do this, but then I read this post.
Would've also asked if it really needs to be in some rulebook that people should 'have some social etiquette'.
Guess I'm disconnected since I only VC with other millennials lmao.

We can use common sense and just kick people, we really don't need a rule on this, it's common fucking courtesy.

i said it when we talked but just to put it in the thread: almost always when you eject someone from the call the entire topic derails unless it's written down, also people just don't understand basic courtesy like you and i hoped they would

Could always do VC bans specifically. Now someone might have look through the window and pine for what could be.

I don't think this is a good idea for the same reason we don't /only/ ban people from manuel.

1: Don’t be a dick. This Discord server is meant to be open and friendly, don’t make it into an unenjoyable environment.
3: Discord is for discourse to happen. Do not disrupt the ability to hold a conversation. This includes spam, dog piling, excessive embeds, and so on. Enclose links with < > to hide embeds.

As MSO has pointed out, someone actively making VC (or any Discord channel) actively worse is already against the rules. If someone is being disruptive in VC, their behaviour should be dealt with the same as any other rule-breaking behaviour in our Discord.
