Second that. Though I did once learn if you move towards arrivals on meta as an MD, while you cant get out the door to arrivals you CAN summon a medbot via PDA who has more access than you and can open that door and let you out

Saying "see title" does nothing to argue the point. Considering this argument's been brought up before and assistants still have maint access, do you have any new arguments why you think they shouldn't have maint access?

Honestly, this might not be a bad idea.

On one hand, the ability of an antag to lurk in maintenance is pretty important on a station with full AI camera surveillance. On the other hand, more people in maintenance means that lurking the tunnels is inherently less stealthy. So it's not an easy call- at least if we're trying to give antags opportunities to run gimmicks hidden from the long arm of the law.

You’ve not provided us with any reason why you think this config change would be beneficial to the game and thus we will not be considering this change.
