Uranium Golems

They either need removal, or policy governing mass production. They're a walking debuff that far as I'm concerned would get you banned if you killed them for no reason even if they're radioactive shits who name themselves FRIENDLY GOLEM or what the fuck ever and talk shit about you when they get shot for standing infront of public places and drain everyone's health.

Realistically I think this is going to fall under "the sins of the father" where the xenobiologist who made a (if its a station golem) uranium golem gets bwoinked for creating a inherently harmful golem as a non-antag.

Also, aren't sentient "monsters" from xenobio always fine to kill, regardless of their claims of being friendly or not? I may be pulling that out of my ass.

The best solution is for them to have a irradiate toggle like whoever said above, but that's not a policy problem.

We should add lead is a mineral and have lead golems block radiation. So they can carry around the uranium god kings safely on palanquins shielding the human peasantry from their radiant royalty.

Well admin-spawned ghost roles shouldn't count because it depends on what the admin wants to do with them, like space merchants or other event-related mobs

If you specifically run up to a uranium golem and stalk it then kill it because it was irradiating you, that's just silly.
If a uranium golem does that to you, then that is on them.

I think this just needs to be handled case-by-case [with heavy leaning on just killing the things if they come in contact with you] until the fundamental issue of being inherently dangerous is addressed [again, not with policy].

Posibrains only become not-valid when put inside a borg or AI though. The posibrain itself, which is the actual ghost role, is valid. I activated a posibrain once only to desconstruct it immediately because I wanted to see if it gave more tech levels than an inactivated one, nobody is gonna bother you for messing around with posibrains, they are cheap and you can always make more.

If you go to the lava land bases of non hostile ghost roles and kill them you might be considered a dick, I dunno about anyone stooping that low but it could happen.

Someone got banned for it last night im pretty sure. They ran in took the disk. I start mining mad they took away reproduction. Guy returns fucking shows up again we tell him to give us the disk back. He starts firing on us unprovoked. I bash his fucking head in. He doesn't have the disk on him. Other miner shows up and kills me because he is a ling. Guy told me in deadchat he fucking killed all the golems because "survival of the fittest" sure jackass you have ranged good job killing the slow moving melee only golems who probably don't have chucking spears.

I get killing the ashwalkers. But i don't get killing the golems.

Here's a good code-based way to resolve this.
Make Xenobio-spawned Golem Shells be incompatible with Uranium. Something about the shell fizzling and sputtering and not coming to life.

But keep them for the Golem Ship Shells.

They aren't radioactive if they're dead. If you see them on station they should be murdered on sight, since the xenobio guy definitely had no good intentions when making them.
