The medbay door buttons.

If only 1 door is open, have the button only close the open door, not open the other one at the same time.

Would help immensely to keep those fucking shitters from running in after someone who actually has access

If you're close enough to reach that button, you're basically close enough to close the door yourself.
Switch to Harm to block the passage while you do it too if you must.

Why does medbay derp about with keeping people out of medbay anyways? the foyer is useless, and dipshit doctors will just stare at you as you bleed to death out there. I'd just as soon see those doors gone, so that's my minor suggestion, remove the damn medbay front doors.

Sawu's SNPCs ought to have a var that dictates whether or not the automaton flavor text shows up on them. It's no fun using these things in events when borgs just go full harm baton on them because "AUTOMATON".

Just recently, I was doing just that, the clown followed someone in, and by the time I got out of the office he already had opened both cryo oxygen tanks

He came back later and dumped the beakers on the floor, too.

As it stands, pressing the button tries to open and close both doors, regardless of how the one adjacent to it is
I want the button to set both doors to the same state.

If only one door is open, pressing the button once closes that door, pressing it again opens both, a third time, closes both, etc etc

Have random traitor items spawn amongst the detritus in maintenance, especially stuff which resembles the kinds of things that are already there.

No, seriously. Make the chance of it happening extremely low, but make it a thing that can happen - chameleon projectors, jumpsuits and the like.

This makes sense for various reasons...

- A lucky crewman can, in whatever roundtype, find themselves a means of defence against whatever's antagonising them,
- A lucky scientist can get a leg-up on illegal tech,
- And last, but certainly not least... it breaks roundtype meta, and stops the presence of contraband from being a near 100% tell of Syndicate activity.

i've suggested this before but it always gets shot down because literally everybody would go to maintenance forever

People can meta the fuck out of it if they want, but they meta the fuck out of things anyway, and spending 10 minutes checking every nook and cranny only to get nothing interesting 9/10 rounds is going to wear down on the soul after a while. I'm going to push for this one.

No, it should only be stuff that blends in with the kipple of random-spawning stuff (eg. chameleon projectors look like timers, no-slip shoes look like a pair of brown shoes, energy daggers look like pens, and so on).

Throwing a stunbaton at someone should hurt AND stun someone. For balance, doing it should use 2000 charge and work only once with stunprods, making them bust apart right after. It wouldn't ever be OP because there is massive risk of backfire if someone catches it or it misses and your intended target picks it up. The target then has the means to retaliate. It would be great for officers in a pinch after running out of Taser shots.
Imagine a perp/shitter trying to make a run for it, and your Taser is depleted. Every turn in hallways, the perp/shitter is inching farther away. You unzip baton, turning it on. You bring it behind your head and hurl it with all your might. It sails through the air and meets the small of your target's head with a sharp crack. They seize up as they slump forward and faceplant on the cold tile, their momentum carrying them a bit farther. They lift their rug-burned face in bewilderment as you slap some cuffs on them.

Machine Pistol Sear:
Traitor Item, costs 3 TC, compatible with 10mm Syndicate Pistol.
Put gun and sear on table while holding a screwdriver, and adding that sear will allow your gun to have a selective fire function. Your gun will fire semi-auto as fast as you can click, and the burst function will allow you to fire 2 shot bursts quickly. Would go along great if there were extended/high capacity magazines.

What about laser attachments for nearly all guns? Really just for the tacticool effect.

How would a laser attachment work? Just shine a laser dot wherever your cursor is? I can see that just being a really big giveaway.

Although if it did something cool like let you 'lock on' to a target and automatically fire if it moved that might be cool.

Most firearms should allow seclites to be attached.

I keep trying to do it to Eguns because they have a similar underbarrel portion as the taser

How about some harmless prank chems for chemistry? Stuff that has some mildly annoying effects and mostly just gives flavor text?
- stink bomb: when mixed creates a puke green cloud. Getting caught in the cloud gives you some really disgusting flavor messages with a very low chance of puking
- sneezing powder: does exactly what it says. Getting splashed with it makes your character sneeze a few times

In honor of an impulse buy I made recently, I suggest stun flashlights as a traitor item. Looks like a flashlight, but can be toggled to stun someone like a baton. Minus the damage potential of harmbatoning, though--poking someone with a small prod is never going to be as forceful as clubbing someone.

Guns that fit on your back/belt slot, like an SMG or shotguns or SBRs or any larger gun could have a craftable sling.
Using 2 lengths of cable coil, you could make a strap-sling that allows you to fire the said gun while you are wearing it on your back, but you don't drop it because it's on your back. Sort of like the backpack spray tank.

Cardboard suit and card board helmet could be reinforced with metal or plasteel. Horrible slowdown, but a slight chance to block tasers and full body armor protection. Could block syringes too

ARC weaponry:
ARC pistol-fires bolts of lightning like the wizard spell, holds 6 shots
ARC rifle-same thing but higher rate of fire and holds 12 shots
ARC cannon-fires several bolts scattered or one large concentrated one with significantly more damage but lower RoF

Crates could hold people with the condition that they can't get in on their own, must be stuffed in, and must be lying down, unconscious, or dead to fit. Opening a crate with several bodies in side should cause a small blood spatter and make the bodies tumble out.

Ling organic space suit should be a costume you can make from the skin of dead people.

Ebow could have unlimited ammo and no fire delay, but will only fire again once the ebow charges fully from the first time it was depleted. That way it will sort of match the tasers having to be recharged after firing.

dark energy sword could be cool, with an mysterious aura like the cult sword, but the advanced technology of a regular esword

telebatons could have no cooldown to stun, but deals stamina damage instead. 2-3 hits could do the trick

bullets could deal embed damage, and armor, caliber, and projectile type could determine whether the bullet embeds or not. Then we could have more variety in damage and rate of bleeding, as well as expanded surgery.

having salt in your body should cause you to whine when you say things until it's metabolized

killing yourself with a shotgun should debrain and delete the brain

Emagging Beepsky should just make him knock people over and occasionally ram into them while spamming Compli-o-Nator lines, instead of stun cuffing. He will always knock people off their feet and if you are wanted, he will fucking ram into you, dealing about 15 brute, gloat via sechailer and fuck off.

It's emagged for Christ sake. It shouldn't do a disservice to security, but it got its shit electronically fucked. As of now, an emagged Beepsky only fucks over antags. I can't even tell you how many times I've been arrested by an emagged Beepsky, try to resist the cuffs and sec thinks I'm suspicious so they search me and perma me for having traitor items, usually when I haven't done anything remotely suspicious.

Emag to a drone should give it a Swarmer lawset.

Shoes should be able to hold a very small/tiny item, while you have them on. Putting a glass shard in someone's shoes should make them fall to the floor everytime they move until they pull it out. You can't 'open' the shoes, you have to take them off and 'use' them in your hand to make the item fall out, as if you shook it out. Some hats should do this too, save for the glass thing.

10 metal rods and a cable coil should make a makeshift ladder; you drag yourself onto it like a table to get on, but you LEAP anywhere you click within 5 tiles like an alien hunter, slamming people and yourself to the ground only you get up slightly faster. could make for some real rage cage action.

shooting a wall should have a slight chance of ricochet, but after colliding the projectile becomes a 'weakened' bullet that only deals 10 brute

having 50 units or more of plasma in your body and smoking a lit cigarette should give you in the mildest explosion possible

shooting at bottles should be a thing, shattering into shards

you should be able to tablecraft ghetto shotgun shells by using spent shells and holding a wire utter: stuff an igniter in, 5 units of black powder, and five glass shards. Highest embed speeds, but small chance of misfire, then you have to cycle it out.

Add a Mulligan roundtype.

When triggered at roundstart, it checks for admin presence - if there are some, it prompts them to press buttons. If it doesn't get an admin response in five minutes, or if no admins are on from the beginning, it Mulligans either into a bunch of random events or an actual antagonist type.

Add a sensorless (does not alert), unlocked air alarm to the Testing Lab's gas chamber (access from the outside of the chamber). It cannot be properly cleared once a mix is pumped into it. Thus, using it to play with gasses renders it difficult to use again until manually cleaned.

Lings should have special brains that can be sent to Centcomm for a large sum of points or Deconned at R&D for high biotech [at the risk you have to keep them alive longer to remove the brain].

[Semi-Stolen from Gun Hog in another thread :)] Add an Armor Tech Tree along with upgradable armor for Sec.

Add more weird Botany Mutations: EMPeaches , To-MATE[yes, playercontrolled]-toes, Zapples [Shockingly Good!], Eggplants [literally makes eggs], Money Tress , Ambrosia [mutates from deus and has strange regent in it], etc.

Pretty sure Egg plants also exist after based weedscopes added a bunch of cool shit to botany.

My suggestion is just to change the descriptions of speedloaders and some magazines, for whatever reason they say "a box of ammunition" or something along those lines even though it is quite clearly not a box
