We have DIY Torches but the recipe is awful. It is also not included in the tablecrafting menu list anywhere, please fix this.
Now, speaking of this particular recipe as it is, is dried wheat/ambrosia and a log. Ok, nice start but five pieces of paper, some stacks of Cloth, jumpsuits, etc. should be just as applicable with a log/improvised Rod (like how you make spears). Needing dried wheat or weed to make a damn torch is imo one of the larger reasons these are never even bothered with.

Secondly, Sconces. A creatable item just like light fixtures, except it holds Torches and Mining Lanterns, illumating the area via unpowered light source.

Make mining lanterns give off more light but run off plasma ore you feed directly into it, or alternatively just add this function to lanterns and they give off normal flashlight amounts when not running on ore.
Normal Flashlights are dynamos with a potato-battery inside it. When its empty, 'use' in hand and begin charging the potato-battery. Should last very reasonable time, and with potato-battery capacity, has limited uses but does have some in emergency situations....

The ideal solution would be to make a bunch or normal attachments for cyborg arms, like internal radios, mesons and huds for heads, fire countermeasure (360 extuinguisher), armour plating, internal 02 tank for chests. Arm blades, inbuilt tasers, inbuilt toolkit, inbuilt RCD, etc for arms. And then have a few tator items that can attach to augments, like an irradiator that does the evilhealthscanber when you hug someone,arm mounted e-bow, etc.

But that's not really a minor suggestion.

This is something that was brought up in dead chat a few days ago

What if grass tiles produced air, it would help fill rooms that have been exposed to space.
What if botany could make pots so they can make potted plants of all the stuff they've been growing and if any of those plants have bio-luminescence then the plant would glow.

Maybe with a few mutations they could even filter air entirely and help clear out plasma leaks while storing it all in the plant's fruit.

Add a genetic mutation that lets you see dead people.
Except these dead people don't look like ghosts, they look just like humans and they
have the same characteristics as when they died (very battered and bruised, husked, decapitated, suffocated etc...)
and if they're close enough you can hear what they say like local chat.
Use your powers to M̶u̶r̶d̶e̶r̶ ̶b̶o̶n̶e̶ ̶E̶V̶E̶R̶Y̶O̶N̶E̶ make the spirits feel at ease.
BUT It will also make you gradually start going insane
so give it to the clown as punishment.

Currently, it isn't possible to photocopy the station blueprints, but it should be possible to make copies. If an area is bombed, and by some wild chance the shuttle isn't called, the blueprints, while not vital, are still very important for making repairs to the station.
The one caveat I would impose would be that you can only view the original station from copies. You would not be able to create new areas or redesignate old ones.

Would also mean that redesignations and additions shouldn't show up on copies made beforehand.

You can get more station blueprints from xenobio. I forget which slime though.

That's also how you let xenobio put slimes anywhere. Rename places to Xenobiology Lab and they can move their camera and drop slimes in that location.

already exists, i coded these. only guns exist currently, but an arm-mounted energy blade has been on my todo list for a long time. i just need sprites for it

The temperature gun is kinda like a heat and freeze ray rolled into one, though they aren't all that effective.
I'd like it if you could jury-rig them up to be more effective, like say - modifying them with higher capacity power cells that can increase it's power exponentially (depending on the whether the cell is a hi-cap, super-cap or blue-cap it can be as much as x1.2, x2, x5 or as high as x10) maybe with a chance of a malfunction that also increases with a critical malfunctioning blowing a hole wide enough to space. Give it that mad science flare and all.

Shrink rays aren't really a minor suggestion unless you wantto really fuck with what being tiny does to you in a fight.

Giving someone a 25%-scale sprite with no other changes makes them hilariously OP in a melee.

New super hero vs super villain mode.

THE OWL:
Someone gets a traitor like PDA that can dispense owl items.
The owl items are all small enough to fit inside a box.
The owl must keep justice throughout the station and be on the lookout for his arch nemesis DR. SHRINKANO
The owl can hear everything on the radio and must stop crimes whenever they are reported.
He also starts with a reusable voice modifier to mask his actual voice.
When he is not the owl he assumes his normal Identity as (insert name)
But most of all he must NOT reveal his secret identity, if he does hes deemed a menace by Centcom and is made a valid

THE ANTAGONIST:
On the other end another player is made into the Owls arch nemesis (NAME PENDING)!
His tools are mostly high level R&D items and can be chosen from his PDA like the Owl
and like the Owl he can not reveal his identity and starts with a reusable voice changer.
His job is to act in a way similar to the Owl
except (NAME PENDING) is causing crimes
Like freezing the captain
spacing the clown
flooding medical with plasma then burning it etc...
But (NAME PENDING)'s master plan is to activate one of his DOOMSDAY devices
to help him (NAME PENDING) can convert anyone not loyalty implanted to be his goons (obviously not the Owl)


The Owl must stop (NAME PENDING) from activating his doomsday weapon and CAPTURE/KILL/SPACE the antag.
Though the Owl has sworn an oath never to kill.
But he can indirectly cause death in this case :/

New Idea to go along with the antagonist idea

in the PDA you would use tc's to buy things and only have a few selections
those selections wouldn't be items but boxes full of items that cost all your telecrystals
And then you can create your doomsday device using the PDA.
Each box has a gimmick items for your super villian to use and an ID to go with it.
i.e.
Doctor shrinkano (totally gonna make that a thing reece)
The pussycat (totally gonna make that a thing scree)
and any others.

The Griffon was an unrelated party and had nothing to do with the sordid tale of the pea-green boat and the pussycat's botched insurance scam that left the owl bereft of both cash and honey.
