Bottom post of the previous page:

Let us transfer pAIs to positronic brains! The gameplay reasoning here is that both are on-demand, silicon ghost roles. Players should not have to pAI suicide if positronic brains become available. It would be one way, of course.

Allow chemistry to change the skin of patches/pills they make - for easier differentiation.

Allow chemistry machines to create pill bottles, label them, and fill them with the desired pills. I know that there is already a pill-to-pillbottle setup in the chem machine, but allowing it to produce pill bottles out of nothing would likely not hurt anyone. I barely see any use of pill bottles, anyway.

a non-ghetto version of the pneumatic cannon
uses a power cell to charge instead of an air tank like other energy weapons
can pick up objects off the floor and put them directly into its storage by clicking on them with it, rather than having to pick them up and place them in the cannon by hand
maybe the downside could be a smaller capacity or smaller max number of shots between charges or something. or just no downside.

It's really annoying that it's the one step you can't do as an engie borg to repair an APC

Make AIs immune to lava

Because every time the "Floor is lava", the AI can't escape and has to sit there and take the damage it can't do anything about (cyborgs can at least go to space but AIs take oxygen damage if they're not on a powered floor)

Allow Revenant's "defile" to break single direction plasglass windows in 2 hits like normal windows or maybe a couple more.

Recently it seems engineers have taken to placing plasglass panes in front of all the windows even if there isn't a threat. This makes it impossible for revenants to cause breaches. Now I'm not saying let revenants break fulltile plasglass windows because then they could breach the SM but its so easy to just slap down plasglass panes in front of everything and hard counter one of revenant's most important abilities.

Have ashwalkers who attack tendrils get warning messages about how they are defiling their sacred hunting ground.

They get big red text at the start about how they worship the Necropolis, the tendrils are sacred gifts from their god, and they need to stop the miners from defiling the Necropolis. Yet round after round I watch ashwalkers kill tendrils, when they are supposed to be protecting them and using as means to gather materials for equipment. Just watched an ashwalker kill a legion tendril not 30 spaces from their nest. An infinite source of healing and bodies, something the tribe could benefit greatly from, killed for sake of a trinket.

Two new circuit components:
pAI control module

- Insert a pAI into your circuit to allow it to interface with your assembly!
- The data input pin accepts any text string, as displayed to the pAI on pulse of the corresponding pulse pin.

- The data output pins are:
* Ref to the pAI itself.
* The direction a pAI is pointing with the movement keys.
* A ref to whatever the pAI clicks (like the ranged scanner).

- The pulse pins are:
* Text input pin which will print a given string to the pAI's chat box.
* On-move pin which will activate when a pAI player presses or holds a movement key, along with the direction on its direction pin. Ideally you would wire this to a locomotion circuit, but some players are creative...
* Action pin. On insertion, a pAI is granted a single action button, corresponding to this action pin. It pulses on click.
* On-scanned pin: Activated whenever the pAI clicks an atom, passing the ref of said item using the corresponding data pin.
* Eject pin: Ejects the pAI from the module.

Example uses: DIY sapient bots controlled by a loyal player. Intelligent suicide bombs. Spy and thief drones. Fully automated attack drones. A personal plant tending bot. The most annoying honk bot ever created.

AI interface module:

A circuit that adds its entry to the AI's botcall interface. It can accept two kinds of input from the AI.
- Data output pin: Activated by the AI using the "target" button in the Botcall interface, it contains the ref of whatever atom the AI fed to it. Has a corresponding pulse pin.
- AI pulse pin: Activated by the "pulse" button on the Botcall interface, OR if the AI (or cyborg) clicks the assembly itself.

Potential uses include perimeter defense turrets, DIY Medibots, AI guided bombs, courier bots, etc.

For an endgame add those leg hover-bauble things that V.I.N.Cent. and Maximillian have from The Black Hole

really obviously not feet any more, give you the floating-looking effect like when you're in zero-gravity. Make you slip-proof and allow you to move freely in zero-G.
Downside: you're really easy to shove around, basically any hit will knock you back a tile. Stuns will make you faceplant and take minor brute.

Also, move the mining conscript kit (basic equipment for new shaft miners) from vouchers to the mining vending machine. No miner is ever going to use their voucher for this at roundstart.

Maybe add a cyborging suite which is complete machinery/parts for borging in the shuttle and fighting with war machines in lieu of ops.

Have a fusion mechanic for humanoid entities.

It requires one of the entities to know a magic spell specifically for the purpose (wizard/blood cult), and the complete co-operation of both entities, but results in a beefy human(oid) with 1.75x the health of the component creatures, plus all their genetic powers, augmentations, viruses, memories etc. It can be controlled by both players at once, leading to potential conflicts in behaviour (or perfect harmony, or everywhere in-between).

It's balanced for wizard because what idiot wants to fuse with the wizard? Other than apprentices, and that's a pretty hefty potential waste of contracts just to get some more health and a few more spells. It's balanced for blood cult because cultists need numbers to summon Nar-Nar, and thus would use it sparingly (also constructs are more useful).

It'd be very useful for testing and discussing conflicts ("What if a guy with a loyalty implant fuses with a revolutionary?", "What species is the result of a human-lizardman fusion?" etc.), and for easily making super-powered entities for admin dickery purposes.

Face it - this is the true way.

Minor cooking ideas.

Mac and Cheese: Cooked Spaghetti + 2 cheese wedge + 5u milk. Add a sausage for Mac and Franks.
Supermatter Rock Candy: 5u water + 10u sugar + Lemon + Bluespace Crystal. Not sure what/if it should have special effects, maybe something like minor radiation damage.

you should run faster and make lots of noise but it should simulate rolling, it should take longer for you to stop and you shouldn't immediately stop if you stop pressing keys, hitting walls should knock you down, or damage the wall, or both.

Make screwdrivers pop out power cells from open covered APCs.

As it stands, it's not possible for cyborgs to repair APCs because they can't remove power cells and, strangely, they don't seem to take damage when the battery is exposed. I wailed on a broken APC with its battery exposed with a fire extinguisher for a solid 10 minutes and it didn't budge.

Remove xenobrain from the tendril loot table. Its only use was to get that sweet Bio Tech level 7. Now, it has no purpose, what so ever. I'd rather get a Dark Blessing, or even a sord, than the xeno brain. Maybe replace it with something that gives you an imaginary friend, but it has lost what little value it had as a loot item and should be removed.

After a discussion last night we brainstormed a kick ass new idea, Power Boots!

Changes all your unarmed attacks to kick variants that do a lot of damage and have significant throwforce on organics. Also get some extra destructive potential.

Kick your foes through reinforced window grills out into the black of space! Kick airlocks off their hinges and watch as the wrecked metal flies backwards, slamming into anyone unfortunate enough to be in its way! Stomp on downed foes for massive damage!

Obviously something this powerful would either need to be a 20tc traitor item or only available to deathsquaddies and other admin shenanigans, but you have to admit it would be fucking cool
