New corporate poster to give newer engineer players advice

ENGINEERING IS SANS-SATIONAL!

When I weld, I make sure to wear my mask.
I also return hardsuits when not in use. I never work on personal projects before wiring the solars.
I fix even partially damaged floor tiles and always do my personal best. I am definitely capable of assisting the janitor in getting rid of random glass shards! I never throw a metal foam grenade at security just because they arrested some random assistant.

add a chemical which metabolises extremely slowly and causes you to have slightly reduced movespeed while it's in your system but has no other side effects

make it extremely easy for just about anyone to manufacture and equally easy to dose the entire crew with it

I was more thinking "nobody will accept a movespeed nerf but instead make a status effect that nerfs movespeed and make it so easily spammable that someone is guaranteed to do it at roundstart every round"

make movespeed so fast that tapping any directional key instantly teleports you as far as you can go in that direction until you hit an obstacle / fall into a chasm / whatever

add a stamina meter that decreases with every tile moved at runspeed and when it runs out you start taking oxyloss from running out of breath

I wanted to put this somewhere. But until people say it's a good idea it'll go here. Plasma Men only mutation via genetics. Cryo Combustion. When they take there suit off, instead of rapidly dying from fire. They turn into a block of ice, quite like the one from a cryo watchers ice beam. Or a wizard ice trap. Except it's permanent until someone puts there suit back on.

1. Maybe make the ice block pushable if it isn't. So we don't get a horde of non-pushable iceblocks being abused. (Everything that can be abused will be abused.)

2. It's an idea because it'd make the hardships of plasma men slightly easier. Except instead of facing death, they'll face being frozen until otherwise helped. They'd most likely still die from loss of plasma in there lungs though.

Implement an acceleration system for the movement speed. When you move (from standstill) you start walking at the pace of a one legged cripple, and every tenth of a second you are moving in a straight line increases your speed until after a few seconds you'll be trucking along at full speed. If you're going over half speed then running into walls, closed doors or other solid objects (like people) will knock you down and do damage to you and what ever you collided with, and moving to fast and trying to turn can cause a similar result.

Then let Science and Engineering invest in padded technology, allowing them coat objects in special rubber and foam to absorb the impact energy, preventing damage and creating a series of bumpers to stop most of the crew from killing themselves running into walls and airlocks.

Why is this here? To add onto this, I'd make grinding Onyan rings give a bit of Nutriment and a reagent called "Diluted Weeb-Essence" Which would cause the last effect.

Then I'd get a syringe gun and start injecting it into people.

Then after this somehow gets added. I'd slowly but surely make a separate virus entirely just called "Weeb-Essence" It'd be on the tier of Monkey Fever, GBS, Cuban Pete, and Rip-LEY Alien Microbes. The effects of this pure "Weeb-Essence" would make the subject, if not already of the Felind race. Spew salt at the beginning stages, as a big alert that something is wrong. Slowly but surely as they progress through the stages, they'll gain cat-ears that'll remove any helmet items (If they were wearing any) and the stage before the last would have them grow a tail.

The final stage would cause them to forcibly commit suicide with whatever items they have in hand, out of sheer rage. A deadly virus, That is for sure.

Apparently chloral hydrate may cause physical dependence in real life.

Make chloral really fucking powerful again but also addictive, with addiction greatly decreasing the drug's effects.

How about having the lawyer start with a special exosuit slot item in his office. It would be an arm cast and sling and a leg cast. So if someone puts it on they have an arm in a cast and sling and a leg in a cast, which prevents them using one of their arms and limits them to walking; optionally could make it so the person wearing it cannot freely remove it, though I think it is kinda funnier if they can since the general idea is for the Lawyers clients to throw it on any time they are trying to sue another member of the crew (security) for assault.

New Roundtype - No humans. Everyone is randomly assigned a random species, name and gender. After 30 minutes of extended play a CC Deathsquad arrives to wipe everyone out. Crew have to kill all Deathsquids and/or build/hijack a shuttle off the station. Cargo shuttle is blown up randomly after 2 or three orders.

honestly, "thing that lets you do the rapid execution without any text to the screen but it's loud as fuck" would be interesting
like it'd be obvious to anyone actually watching and paying attention, and about on a par with any other execution as far as the AI is concerned (since they don't get sounds or text notifications when people fight) but in a crowded room or something all you'd see is some fucker fall over with a loud bang and now you have to guess which of the people standing next to them just plugged them in the skull

Making the Stechkin into a Welrod Mk3 or what ever with an integrated silencer would be pretty cool, having to manually chamber rounds and cock it, can disassemble it to look like working tools. Doesn't make a sound or generate 'x fired the gun' messages for the first dozen or so times its been fired.

Hide Ancient Jumpsuit in the maintenance - wearer can act antagonistically towards other Assistants and is open for being treated as an antagonist. There can only be one!
