Add a "pressure limiter" to the scrubber interface.

Post by Kyrah Abattoir » #278312

Currently vents can pressurise a room to a given pressure but we don't have anything to lower down rooms that are simply overpressured, short of siphonning.
  • Freon and chilled gasses can cause the temperature to drop.
  • Pressure in the room will drop as gasses contract, which will trigger the pressure regulation function of vents and refill the room back to pressure.
  • As the newly inserted gas mixes with the cooler gasses in the room, those will warm up and expand again, which will raise the pressure of the room.
Currently scrubbers are set to only filter out one or more specific gas unless switched into siphon mode. Scrubbers should fully "open" when a room is over their target pressure to bring it down back to normal.

scrubbers should also be able to scrub "good" gas as well like O2 and N2 [think plasmamen rooms]

Didn't they used to? I think I remember that being a thing.

Plus it'd be funny for subtly making a room uninhabitable in a not so obvious way.
