I enjoy this idea. It's like how flypeople are weak against pest killer and flyswatters - rarely used super-effective weapons.

putting a banana or other long vegetable behind a cat should make them flip when they turn around and see it

Not stun, but throw them at the lasered tile and knock them down.

Upgrade the pointer with better microlasers to improve the RNG. T4 is a 50% chance to stun I think

Oughta make it throw them to the tile so you can shine it in space and have them fly out the airlock at mach 9

They're RNG? How long does the stun last for and does it impair, drunkify or disable movement? Speech?
It's essentially a ranged flash that ignores flash protection. It's a full stun/knockout/mute for borgs

Yeah, but I think the unupgraded pointer only has a 10% chance to blind

Looks like the base chance is 20% to blind

It was initially closed because of the freeze, got reopened about 22 hours later, then merged 2 hours after that because it had technically been about a day since it was initially opened.
