- Upon examination: "John Donk has minor genetic deformities." (despite not being related to genetic mutations/disabilities)
- Using health analyzer: "Subject appears to have been imperfectly cloned." (despite not always being caused by cloning)
Both are confusing, especially when we consider the terms used about genetics.
- Ryetalyn: "can cure all genetic abnomalities." (but it only cures mutations/disabilities, not clone damage)
- Rezadone: "this substance can effectively treat genetic damage in humanoid" (it only cures clone damage, not mutation/disabilities)
This is why I propose to rename all clone damage description to use "cellular damage".
PRO:
- It fits both damage from actual cloning and damage from slime (which feeds on the DNA inside the cells).
- It clearly conveys that this is separate from genetics mutations and disabilities.
- It conveys that the patient clearly has a specific form of damage thus people won't be confused when someone is dead despite not having 200 of the 4 typical damages (when using health analyzer or sleeper).
- "cellular damage" isn't a perfect fit for slime damage description.
- Description upon examination is a bit awkward "John Donk has minor cellular damage" (how do you see damage to cells w/o any device?) whereas deformities evoke something macroscopic.
