Android-ification surgery

Post by adamkad1 » #389757

Let science research a disk for surgery that turns people into proper androids, with all listed weaknesses and disabilties on race page.
Potential requirements- must be fully augumented and maybe must be dosed with atleast 5 units nanobots

Because fully augumented humans are kinda boring and we dont get full androids much

Androids are cool but they aren't five nanobots cool or fully augmented cool. I don't think they're even that strong otherwise why did people make skeleton mutation toxin for widespread use and not android mutation toxin BACK WHEN XENOBIO HAD MUTATION TOXINS REE

I don't think we can even nanobots or anything like that that without adminbus or advanced chemistry that is way too fucking long for any normal person to make.

Unless I'm confusing reagents again, aren't nanobots the borg transform reagent anyway?

nanobots are the only robot related toxin, it sounded as close as it can to turn someone into full machine

What if we had a surgery disk that let people use cyborg shells to instantly fully augment people?

Why do we need androidification when we already have borgs?

The way androids fall outside pretty much everything that makes silicons silicons is pretty lame anyway.

"Androids are a human race"

Sense, it makes none.

Make androids an alternate version of borgs.

They have laws, are linked to the AI, can't use uploads or emag borgs (anti-shitter measures), maybe can be emagged, and have door silicon interfaces/integrated access, but otherwise function like humans. They also have limitations during malf so they can't bypass one of the core restrictions, "you have no hands".
