spawn all assistance in assistant storage again

it's kind of neat to spawn them around the station, but when most of all assistants want to head towards their storage and grab the goodies it starts with, it becomes annoying

it was always fun watching all the assistants spawn and start robusting each other over the gloves, belt, and multitool. this game needs more laugh-out-loud moments like that, they're what make playing it fun

I agree with this idea, but only if assistant storage is supposed to refer to the gulag. If assistant storage is referring to primary tool storage this is a bad plan.

i used to play a lot of assistant and the mess in primary tool storage was just plain annoying, not a fan

this game has enough problems with many people in small areas at once, intentionally reversing the change so this happens again seems backwards to me

it was a rite of passage for every assistant to spawn in the same room, majority of them scrambling for tools in the room while others ran into maintenance to grab the static-spawn sunglasses and other misc gear.

On a serious note this is not a FPS, we do not need to balance spawn locations so everyone has the same shot at getting the gloves.

Although if we do this and then ban people who instigate fights over the insuls that would deal with a good chunk of the worst elements.

yes it was but it was also dumb and the real smart people would leave to get the good shit from aux tool storage

I like the current spawn system. if you want your grubby hands on something you either ask or steal (on your own risk).

but actually just spawn them inside lockers instead. thats where they belong

seriously like goddamn dude the best way to get a toolbelt is to say "hey, roboticist, can I snag that spare belt?" and then they throw it at you and you save their life when they're getting killed and everyone has a good time

tbh it adds to the chaos of what ss13 is supposed to be, a paranoia-filled chaotic mess where the only way out is through the inevitable escape shuttle that has to happen every single round

its silly and that's ok, and it's not that big a deal to give admins a job, is it? that's what they are there for

To be honest whenever this happened it was actually incredibly fucking hilarious
one time it did and also coincidentally the captain came over at roundstart to say hi to the assistants and announce a competition for the spare ID. he got fucking SWARMED. ive never seen so many people scramble to beat one person to death at once. he was gone in seconds.

it is impossible to feel more pity and sympathy for a person than a head revolutionary who gets pushed down and has his flash stolen before managing to convert a single person

a warzone. people pushed onto tables, screwdrivers finding their way into people's chests, fists flying and blood soaking the floor.
once you struggled free from the frothing mob, you'd wait till it dispersed, tool storage picked clean, before finally dragging the 5 or 6 innocents caught in the mess to cloning

Spawn all assistants in the engine. Also, create an engine that runs on the gibs of assistants. Engineers can be given access to animal control gear and round up the assistants that join after round start for more fuel.
