Russian Revolver modification/chance to spawn as REAL revolver!

Hey boys, it's ya boy Lynch (the guy behind searing meats with a welder torch) bringing you yet another hot idea from recent rounds.
Most of my ideas have been brewed during rounds from things that happen during the rounds.
Background:
>Playing as greyshirt on Metastation
>Realize you're hungry and head to the kitchen/bar for some dank donk pockets
>Asshole med doc beside you stares at you wrong
>Steals your deep-fried mouse
>You think of a way to prank him back
>Pick up "Russian Revolver" in theater (thinking it's a cap gun) to fire at the asshole MD
>Revolver goes off, all 6 rounds, POW POW POW.
>MD on floor bleeding and dying.
Basically there has been a bug with the TG-codebase Russian Revolver that allowed people to fire it at other players like a normal 357 revolver.
With my findings posted to Github, Jared was able to fix the issue, but this is something that I have encountered TWICE now, on different servers.
Every time it happens, I ask people how it was possible, and no one has ever discovered the real reason except now.
GH lobs here:
https://github.com/tgstation/tgstation/ ... -403240944
So going forward, with the bug fixed:
What if we actually implemented two things to add disorder and chaos to our rounds involving the Russian Revolver:
1) Chance to spawn as a REAL .357 Revolver (but name/label/description exactly the same as the Russian Revolver) in the Metastation (or any other spawn, including PDA uplink or station start spawns).
2) What if we made it possible to modify a Russian Revolver into a .357 Revolver? This would kinda be similar to loading up bartender's shotgun with lethal rounds, but it would be using the same .357 rounds but modifying the Russian Revolver receiver to let it fire normally.
I understand there might be some balance issues, so hopefully we can figure out a good way to implement this.
