Quirk Ideas

People in OOC will sometimes just randomly mention ideas for quirks but nobody actually posts them in the forums. Was wondering if making a thread asking for them would bring any ideas over.

Its been said before but make an addict trait. +2 points, you are randomly addicted to something (nicotine, alchohol, space drugs/mindbreaker etc). Said addiction cannot be stopped short of cloning.

Obesity. You constantly need to be fat or else get a massive mood debuff. +2 points.

Quick Reflexes. 100% OF THROWN SPEARS/LANCES GETTING CAUGHT IF THROW IS TOGGLED ON BECAUSE FUCK IMBEDDEDING AND FUCK RNG. -2 or -3.

Reposting everything I've suggested

Positive:
Augmented limb - One of your limbs is made from a proper augmentation, and not one of those cheap ones either. Start the game with a cyborg limb. (-1)
Light eater - You don't eat as much as most people. Your hunger drains slower than normal. (-1)
Chem resistant - You don't get hooked on drugs as easily. Treat addiction thresholds as though they were 50% higher. (-1)

Negative:
Artificial heart - Your heart has been replaced with an artificial cybernetic component. It has no inherent upsides, but, maybe don't stand too close to anything electromagnetic. (+1 points)
Diabetic - Your body lacks the necessary ability to manage its own sugar levels and now it is up to you to do your body's job for it. Sugar will now process significantly slower in your body and you suffer downsides for having too little or too much sugar. If you're too low, you feel the effects of hypoglycaemia and need to consume sugar to quickly get back to normal. Too much and you will feel hyperglycaemic and will need to take insulin pills to quickly lose all that sugar. (+3 points)
Incompatible neural topography - Despite living in a world where death is cheap, you are an exception and only have ONE life. Your brain is fundamentally incompatible with the scanners and MMIs Nanotrasen use and will be unable to be cloned or placed into a cyborg body. Start the game with the Hellbound status effect. (+4 points)
Heavy eater - You constantly feel hungry. Nutrition drains faster than normal. (+1)

Neutral:
Fat - Who ate all the pies? You fat bastard, you ate all the pies. Start the game overweight.
Vegetarian - Animals are friends, not food! You hate the taste of meat and will be grossed out whenever you eat anything with meat.
Lactose Intolerant - You're the reason the station even has a bathroom. You are grossed out whenever you eat anything dairy.
Junkfood aversion - Your body can't tolerate processed food. You are grossed out whenever you eat any junkfood.
Grain intolerance - You suffer from a rare condition and cannot consume anything made from grains. You are grossed out whenever you eat anything with grains.

Raised by Lizards: You know Draconic at roundstart (Lose 1 point - Taking this as a Lizardperson would be a wasted point)
Traumatised: Start with a random phobia at roundstart (Gain 1 point)
Fast metabolism: Reagents process faster in your body (Lose 1 point - Mutually exclusive with slow metabolism)
Slow metabolsim: Reagents process slower in your body (Lose 1 point - Mutually exclusive with fast metabolism)
Chav: You speak with a chav accent (0 points)
Ain't nothin' but a hound dog: You speak with an Elvis Presley accent (0 points)
Swede: You speak with a Swedish accent, bork bork! (0 points)
Mute: You can't speak, at all. No known method exists of alleviating this. (Gain 3 points)
Clerical Error: Start with any of the following: the wrong PDA colour+cart/a misspelled ID/misassigned job title. It is possible to have all three. (Gain 1 point)
Nanotrasen loyalist: Start with an attachable badge that proudly states your commitment to Nanotrasen, you even gave up a payrise for this badge! (Lose 1 point)
Unionized: Start with an attachable armwrap that states you are a member of the local worker's union in your sector, you commie bastard. (Lose 1 point)
Addict: Start with an addiction to a random narcotic, this habit can be kicked but don't expect it to be easy (Gain 1 point)

Handedness

All of the below options are mutually exclusive with one another.

Right-handed: When the world is built for them, it's better to be in the majority. - Progress bars (screwdrivers, surgery, stripping/clothing other people etc.) fill 50% faster if your RIGHT HAND is selected when beginning the action. Progress bars fill 50% slower if your LEFT HAND is selected when beginning the action. Also, using guns with your LEFT HAND has permanently reduced accuracy similar to if you were dual-wielding, and using melee weapons with your left hand deals 25% reduced damage. No quirk point change.

Left-handed: Did you know thirty thousand people die every year using right-handed scissors? - (All the same benefits and downsides of right-handedness apply to your left hand, and vice-versa.) No quirk point change.

Ambidextrous: Right hand, left hand, what's the difference? You can kick ass with both. - Progress bars fill 50% faster with EITHER HAND selected when beginning the action. Dual-wielded guns are never inaccurate. -2 quirk points.

Ambisinister: The world is a hard hard place when tying your shoes can lead to a broken finger. - Progress bars fill 50% slower with EITHER HAND selected when beginning the action. Guns in EITHER HAND have permanently reduced accuracy, and dual-wielding guns can lead to even shooting yourself, somehow. Melee weapons deal 25% reduced damage in EITHER HAND. +2 quirk points.

No, thanks - Aww, you don't want to play? Spoilsport. - Opt out of the handedness system entirely. Hands function as they always have done, with no change to efficacy in either hand. This option is enabled by default for all characters. No quirk point change.

Also just wanted to kind of reimagine this a bit.

You cannot begin the round as an antagonist. (Similar to how security and the captain function, except you get a fancy badge to show off proving your devotion) +1 quirk point.
