Syndicate Bundle Brainstorm

So I recently made a PR to add two new bundles, seen here: https://github.com/tgstation/tgstation/pull/42612. Basically its got me hyped up now since its so easy to code and what not, and I want to add more.

However, it also brings me to the question: should we? Should we keep the current bundles and not add anymore to prevent oversaturation?

If we should, got any good ideas? I'll tack em' onto the PR.

"Cookin' with Gas" Bundle
Comes with a fireproof chef hat, a flamethrower, a chef box or two, and a host of flammable materials, including a bonfire kit. Kidnap tasty meals and sear them to perfection in the abandoned bar your luxury maintenance restaurant. If things get too hot, rev up the flamethrower and laugh maniacally as you make bad puns and jokes about celebrity chefs.

A good but not round-ending reward, hidden under RNG AND RNG and meme junk


It'd be harder to get then lesser ash drake from the bottle of blood, and that's only seen in 4 percent of all rounds

I maintain that magic and the syndicate should remain separate. There IS in instant recall in the dark lord bundle, but it serves the purpose to act as the force. What you're suggesting is just a mashup of a ton of super OP spells, which can and WILL be abused.

Spellbooks have been a staple of rare-gateway loot

There's nothing completely round-breaking in any of em.

Except for mindswap, that's the strongest

There's non-traitor neutered versions of everything in them


mimes wall, engineering advanced forcefields. emags, all access, door remotes, Acid, weaker lizard fireball S.E


I think it has some pretty good justification for balance

I like both the bundles you are trying to add but i do think the bee bundle could be a bit stronger. Isn't beesease a mild annoyance? Probably not worth anywhere near 10 tc.

I suggest adding a queen bee and(or) a decent amount of mutagen to the bee bundle. Why mutagen you ask?

The beesplosion recipe for awesome custom bee grenades is very mutagen heavy, requiring both strange reagent and pure mutagen.


If we feel like we are getting too many bundles you could split the pool of bundles and the agent could choose between Syndicate bundle A or Syndicate bundle B which would pick from different pools of bundles.
