it's broken, it doesn't work properly and releasing it will kill the server.

It will be removed if nobody steps forward to maintain it.

Just imagine being outside the station and watching a tesla ravage it!!

You’d see an incredible flash of light, an entire area would go dark, followed by a boom (hahahshahha no sound in space hahahah you’re so dumb shhahsha). It’s keep going on until you saw arcs of energy ripping the station apart.

Sorry but the goofball is needless bloat that never served a good niche, for a long time it was "singularity but you can set the pa to 3 and if it gets out it doesn't break anything" but now it's "singularity but instead of being interesting to avoid and interacting with the sm it just kills you if you hear the zappy noise and don't immediately run as fast as you can"

actually it was the "engine that doesn't crash the server" because when it was created the singulo was due to bugs being a slow godawful mess

Never reported except for the several times when I did. Which goofball acknowledged.

The code that makes it explode everything it touches is more the reason it removes the server

Also yakumo's post proves my point, regardless of the validity people will and do think you don't maintain your code

well i'd point to the many, many, many, many, many bugfixes I've made for my work but you see, someone reported my github account so i literally cant prove it now because goof man bad code :(

i dunno who did it but tesla act causes the tesla electric beams to make explosions repeatedly, teslas can actually naturally loose themselves even on the old spread out setups IIRC at a low rng chance

But i might be wrong and it might not be tesla act

I coded the explosions, don't know how new you are but it worked fine on all station layouts for like a year before we switched to SM. Repeated explosions sounds like a bug though, machines are supposed to be destroyed by the first explosion that hits them.

the explosions also sound like they're happening on tesla coils/grounding rods too

from what i've seen even with grounding rods the tesla can break the emitters/grounding rods unless I've gone partially insane

Maybe people aren't spacing the grounding rods far enough but ive seen emitters+grounding rods 7 tiles away get boomed

that's also weird because i havent seen the tesla do that until like, mid-late 2018?

to add: i always knew it blew up machinery but it seems to always explode now whenever it shoots out a lightning bolt

I mean, it's totally possible that the grounding rods themselves were changed. How a machine reacts to a tesla bolt is actually dependent on the machine itself (under each machine's tesla_act(), iirc), and grounding rods are supposed to override that so that they don't blow up.
