"Happy endings" strike counter

I think it could be encouraging for players to stay safe and care more if there was a "N safe returns from the SS13 in a row" counter. if you managed to not die and evacuate more than, lets say, 13 times in a row you should get a mention in the final screen.

And if you did it 100 times you can create a cat girl character.

Better yet would be a stats panel where you can see your number of deaths, your most deaths in one round, your number of rounds, your play time, your number of shifts where you escaped alive, your number of redtexts, your number of greentexts, etc

This data is already collected by statbus, right? It can probably be scraped right from the server.

we should do something like a customizable beard and the more rounds you survive the cooler beard you get. people whove only survived 1 round are bald faces but 5 rounds is a goatee and then 100 rounds is a rainbow dwarf beard.

William Dornan now has a 10,000 meter long beard due to robusting everyone.

The idea is good, however, it could increase the amount of butthurt significantly.

Goonwallet encourages powergaming. Having an ingame stats tracker that mirrors statbus is just a nice slice of trivia.

Then comes people raging on the OOC chat about "I LOST MY SURVIVE STREAK REEEE" and also, it would amke people go on escape pods
and weld doors shut to prevent shenanigans. Also, there would be far mroe outrage when "fun" happens on the shuttle.

The mroe people understand this is not a game about winning, the better.

Given that most servers are mild RP I would say it is good that shuttle bombing before round end gets "nerfed" and people will actually try to evacuate...

Btw any game is about winning. Only winning conditions vary. Personally, after getting real good with Xenobio I find joy in making myself unkillable but I would prefer if there was something behind it. Like "Happy endings" strike counter. It is no fun for people like me to do the same shit 1000 times without any kind of continuation between rounds.

hrp servers are really lame and metaclique though.

If you're gonna be in any metaclique. Don't be in a psuedo job one

*cough* admemes

Yeah in Factorio(if we gonna ignore missions and launch) you set up a goal for yourself and try to achieve it. If you play without saves and get randomly "trained" you lose, unless you did what you planed before this. How it's not about winning?
