i didn't think about it much between the spark of this idea i'm fairly certain is already on other servers and right now but
it's a sleeper that you can afk or log off in and someone won't steal your shit. if a bomb goes off you're fucked

e: just a sleeper that can be opened with access, an emag or destroyed (i.e. a personal closet) would work i think

Rounds really aren't long enough during peak hours to warrant something like this. This is also why dorms has an option to lock the door.

why are you entitled to not have your stuff stolen to someone who is actively participating in the round and could use the items?

i didn't know this of all things would get a negative reaction and provoke hostility

i agree that unless you're a head of staff people should be entitled to your stuff in the event you log out
however, on the rp server i feel i'm entitled to take a small break for a piss and another coffee (gotta go fast) for 5 minutes every half hour or so

the other thing this would solve is braindead people standing around and people not knowing the correct arrpee method of logging off
i'm in the game frequently and have been on manuel a lot and this has been discussed in ooc a few times

anyway i'm not that interested in defending this idea

Honestly I thought this thread was gonna be a "port cryosleep" thread and the result I got was more selfish and powergamey than that.

go in chapel mass driver and rp as space garbage

There was a user called kniives that would lock themselves in a bathroom stall everytime they had to use the bathroom irl.

Improvise, adapt, overcome. Every map has some sort of area that you can lock off to yourself temporarily.
