Everybody should have greentext

Every single job on the station should have some kind of random semi-trivial job-specific greentext they can aim for like obtaining some basic item from their workplace or completing some task specific to their job
Maybe a handful of different objectives with the more difficult ones requiring cross-departmental interaction
The increase in chaos caused by achievement hunters would likely be counteracted by the decrease in chaos caused by bored idiots
This idea is getting already getting floated in regards to security and prisoners
It's Crew Content
The code infrastructure is probably already mostly in place via antags
Coming up with objectives is fairly trivial
Why doesn't the station itself have more varied objectives
Maybe the captain's objective should be the station's objective I don't know

if everyone gets greentext, the value of greentext is devalued

Greentext is already without value sans the license to grief it occasionally provides.

I was actually working on station-wide crew objectives to kinda help give direction to rounds without direct need to have an antag playing protagonist. I'll have to look at where I left off on that. Essentially the crew are given a scoreboard at the end of each shift that shows certain features like % of station tiles left uncleaned or number of X item produced. Heads of staff could possibly get instructions (I'd consider slapping it onto the Rountstart Report to encourage people reading it and heads communicating information) regarding what things are priorities that shift.

I little less involved and a little more of a surprise than a guided tour is the concept for unspoken crew objectives. For example, (again) keeping under a certain % of the station clean of blood or making at least X of some certain thing. These would mostly function to call attention to certain jobs and if they did their responsibilities or not. If robotics got a secret objective to make at least 4 medbots/floorbots/etc and made nothing, the round-end popup would point that out and slag them off as lazy bad employees. Alternatively, they'd get a praising statement if they succeeded in making the things or making a ton of them beyond the unspoken goal. Of course, secret objectives are a little hard to complete if you don't know what they are, but I'd look to design each to contemplate "normal" job behavior and make the success state be whatever you'd expect a normal person to accomplish in 15-20 minutes if they did their job instead of chasing the clown down to git dem valids.

Either of these could be worked into a sort of numerical score

Technically there already is a crew greentext (Station goals) and nobody ever bothers to do it outside of the incredibly occasional DNA vault.

Correct, but insubstantial.

On Goon it'd just say "The following sick cunts completed their crew objectives:" with a list of names. The antagonists had their objectives listed and whether they completed them or not.
